To keep updated with the current events, please follow these channels: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100005610439059 https://www.facebook.com/mytrafficvalue?fref=ts --------------------------------- Slight change in PaidVerts TOS regarding ad delivery refunds Today we had to take a tough, but necessary decision regarding the undelivered ad views, in order to protect liquidity and limit spoiling user experience for our PaidVerts members, by slightly adjusting our terms of ad delivery for bulk ad purchases. The terms state that 180 days after a campaign is purchased, any undelivered purchased ad views will be refunded. Unfortunately, a heap of downtime and via that "lost days" in the previous months, while solving server issues, has put a lot of pressure on this deadline. And despite all best efforts, positive initial results and estimations while trying to keep up with this deadline, the situation has gone a bit out of hand in the past few days. Over-spamming our users with ads has resulted in making daily ad delivery very unpredictable, despite initially encouraging results the past week and in the process also ruining user experience. Therefore, in order to maintain user experience at a comfortable level, protect our liquidity and via that keep PaidVerts attractive and allow it to gradually start increasing the ad issues, whilst also reducing the "spamming of ads", we have decided to extend our refund period to 185 days since purchase, giving us 5 extra days to deliver all ad views in time without issuing refunds. If after this change any campaigns will cross this change in delivery deadline, they will be refunded, without any additional changes to this part of the terms. But we are confident that this 5 day extension will allow us to deliver all ads in time. We realize that this change of terms might feel unfair to some (especially after we have already refunded some campaigns prior to this change), but in the current situation we had to take this drastic and "one-of-a-time" measure in order to protect our liquidity and help reinvigorate PaidVerts in the following months. This is the first time that we had to take our right to amend our TOS at any time without prior notice, and will do our best to avoid any future similar situations, as it is in our best interest to never again sporadically amend our TOS like this again without prior notice. This is a one-time situation, caused by several issues during our massive growth stage in the first two quarters of this year. We sincerely apologize to anyone who might be affected or feels damaged by this change of TOS and ask for your understanding for the steps we had to take in making this amendment, in order to protect our business from illiquidity and to maintain a pleasant user experience. This will definitely be a red flag for advertisers since we're not honoring the original agreement. It's okay if the new rule applies to new ad pack purchases only. We shouldn't have been complacent and over too confident with our ad delivery. If we had listened to clamors of sending ads during weekends before, we could have had some buffer at least. Let's do the following: 1. Continue with the $0.01 ads instead of refunding the advertisers with $0.02 per undelivered click. 2. Make the ClickGrid exciting. People are losing interest because the prizes are not that enticing. Instead of giving out $100 to 1 user, why not have 20 X $5 prizes? This way when a member access the ClickGrid, he/she will see people winning $5 as opposed to seeing just $0.001 winners. 3. For now, stop sending $0.0005 ads. People get tired of clicking ads that low. More and more members are skipping them. Some only click it because its consuming their BAP but keep sending them 100 X $0.0005 ads daily and you'll see them gone with the wind. 4. Ensure that the SUU and personal 1% ads are being sent properly. 5. Send ads at the start of the server day not halfway or last few hours of the day. That way, if we have to "play catch-up", we'll still have time to send some ads. 6. Let's have the programmers fix the Recycle ads. A lot have been asking for them. There are a lot of good suggestions posted by several members. Why don't we take them into consideration?
