Those who trade intraday are thinking only to themselves not also to the good of the company (they are speculators, they don't care about the company). Mr. Marc de Koning asked for something for the good of the company (also for a temporary measure until the company launches new and big products). So, it is wise to not discuss selfish strategies, but strategies for the general good of the company (now what it counts is the relaunch of the company not the wellness of the individual trader, because if the company prospers then the individual prospers too, think healthy on long term). Meaning, you can't put a sell roadblock up and then buy up shares under it. I know for those that can, it allows them to catch a price movement b4 it gets away from them. Big shareholders would cry like babies, many people would be happy with the price increase etc. The thing is, you can't please anyone but at least buying shares like that would be fair and square and in the spirit of so called 'free market'. Anyway, this is a ridiculous idea, but as they say 'fight fire with fire' so in this case fight money, with more money! Or, as mio suggested, fee that is taken right at the time of 'fake' selling/bidding. Really simple, yet it would make people think if they really want to sell. This might be better than the time lockdown, since the market wouldn't be cluttered that much. Very big roadblock is still a very big roadblock for those X hours or so and instead of encouraging people to buy shares it could just stall the market.  Edit. But you can place limitations on other things which will slow some of the problems. My 2 things I wrote on page 4 would do that without putting limitations on individuals rights to buy and sell as much as they want. Charge 10% on all cash sells (buy and sell all you want) Stop trading until the next day if price moves more than 10% up or down at the price at server reset. Like in the real market !!! it should exist a chart like in the stock markets where users would be aple to paint lines and all that..... and to put stop loss and take profit defenitions... I understand that a big investor has more power in the market and that is normal since invested more, but it has that power to play with a greater number of shares in purchase sales and deveria not have that advantage and more the advantage in the market deve be fair and the only incentive is to win or lose each strategy, intelligence, and not the large or small number of shares. with this little change or some other similar, it would be solved once and for all waits for intraday trader and the same opportunities to gain or loss for all with the same rules in the game for everyone.
