I'm still working on some additional moderating/forum features so that we'll have a bit more control of what gets edited/deleted. The task of our moderators is not to censor anything but to clean the forum of spam and junk messages that don't bring anything to the discussion, which based on our first draft of moderating rules often leaves the moderators making a subjective choice. So with a bit clearer rules and a "voting system" the moderation will be much more objective. But I'm keeping an eye on the editing and so far no one has gone too far on the moderation. First a bunch of tickets to take care of then hopefully I'll be able to finish some of it today. *I'm also starting to give temporary forum bans to people who spam their account issues on the forum instead of creating a ticket and waiting for an answer. The only thing we'll make an exception and tolerate are exploits/security issues. These 3/4 persons who post concerns about the accounts will learn about the correct way to do that: SUPPORT. When You have a problem with Your account/ads/etc the correct place to report that is the "contact support". If They think Jo, Slosumo or somebody else will check every day hundred of posts They are wrong. But They will check the tickets . So, after the temporary ban..maybe They will learn that. I hope that. EDIT: Thanks to the people who press the "disagree" button. But let me ask something: What do You think is the best way to get the PV Team attention: 1. Forum posts. 2. Support Ticket. I think the best option is number 2. Maybe You can all try this option. Or not. Continue to post here unuseless things and the result will be temporary ban...maybe after that you will try the number 2 option. He could also mean those people who ask specific account questions that the FAQ say SHOULD BE support tickets, and when everyone tells them to put in a ticket, they just keep asking the same question. I guess we'll find soon enough.... Let be all honest. Some people think They are robots. One day have 24 hours. Don't get me wrong.. I had my problems with my account ... but I chose the right solution ... I sent ticket .. Users will get a temporary forum ban for the following: - Opening topics specifically aimed at me or Jo to check someone's issue/ticket Note: Exceptions to that are website exploits or security/hacking issues. Say we wouldn't give a ban for something like "Some just hacked my friend's account - please ban it until he proves his identity" . - posts where users say "Check my ticket xxx" - spamming the forum over and over again with posts like "I didn't receive my ads today" or "I made a deposit and it's pending for 12 hours already!!!" That sort of things - where the only way to solve the issue is via support ticket NOT the forum, or excessive spam of issues we're fully aware of/are written in the news. Things even Mods don't have access to. I also don't see it being too long before he starts banning people for flooding the Forum with 'Check my Ticket' posts. The only check my ticket posts permitted in the forum are account hacks and system exploits.
