Yes, the column says adfilter 0,05 for my group, but 20 ads where 0.022.
Probably generates a lot of recycled ads. But that shouldn't be the way
to create them.

The welcome mat will be out whenever you get here--BTW Michaelkline lives here too--I met him when I was selling Kettle corn, jewelry, and crafts at our Dillinger Days show recently. Small world, ain't it?

@Chrystalia

Took the family to Bisbee when the kids were little and stayed in that "haunted" hotel. My son about crapped...Then did the silver mine the next day. Love the desert, but then I'm a visitor.

Small world indeed. That is hilarious.
Being a moderator, did he give you a GET OUT OF JAIL FREE card for the forum? (just in case you're having a bad day) lol

Last I knew, any undelivered ads b/c of Ad Filters are added to the next days Ad Issue...they AREN'T recycled.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

Chrystalia, I'd rather identify the birds that sneak their way over the border in your neck of the woods, than shoot.

Bisbee is beautiful, I have seen pictures. I hope to get down there sometime in person, but it seems we're always up to our eyeballs in one thing or another--never a dull moment around here LOL. Four businesses, a housemate, several grown kids, various exes.....

@Joe--

Yes it was a real hoot to find out he lived here LOL. And NO, I did NOT get a get out of jail card for the forum--though HE got a free bag of kettle corn (we make the best anywhere--we've had about 30 years of practice!). When I misbehave, I take my punishment in true chick fashion... I stalk off into a corner, pout, and look daggers at people wink.

And seriously, guys--if you're ever in the neighborhood, let me know, The Bear (my other half) is always looking for like minded people to yack with,...

If you're a serious bird watcher, we've got eleven species of raptors, sparrows, cactus wrens, road runners--and though I have never seen one, I know that some local birders have supposedly spotted elegant trogons in Madera Canyon area. If you've never seen pictures of one, look them up--very striking bird, and very rare this far north in the Sonoran desert.

Our mines also have quite a few owls that like to roost in them--the last time The Bear was down there filming a video for his website project (he makes small scale hard rock mining equipment), he startled a large golden brown one, a real beauty. We have ferruginous pygmy owls too--cute little hand sized guys that live in burrows in the ground, and they stand on the edge of them at dusk like a bunch of meerkats or something.

Bats too, of course.

For game birds, we have Gambrel quail and doves--of course there is next to no meat on a dove, but The Bear has gone dove hunting before. Up north in the white mountains, elk--I keep hoping The Bear will try for a tag, but he never gets around to it *sigh*.

Luckily my brother in law (who live in Yuma) gets tags fairly regularly, and we've gotten some good game meat from him before.Mule deer around the mines, but they're small, cottontails and BIG jackrabbits--but of course you can't eat them at all down here, tularemia. Personally, I miss the GREEN parts of America, despite my allergies. I miss four seasons, I miss good water tables and fertile soil, but somehow I keep landing back in Tucson.

Yes, I'm sure the Elegant Trogon comes up north every once in awhile, and yes Madera Canyon is where they are spotted.

I've got basically every raptor and sparrow on my list, I haven't checked to be sure, if there any more that cross the border in the Tuscon corner.

I've seen quite a few Cactus Wrens and Road Runners actually, some of them kind of tame even.

Oh yes, Owls, I have yet to work on my Owl list, I haven't even bothered looking for a Barn Owl. I do have a couple though, couple more just heard.

But, if the bird areas are as dangerous as you say, going back alone sounds risky. Even if it's just nearby, the birds might be more secretive, skittish, not bother coming up north as much.

Plenty of birds still migrate north, according to the local birders. My other half runs into them on occasion. As long as you're in Santa Cruz county, things are pretty save around the big nature preserve by Arivaca--the mule trails aren't near there. But Cochise county is definitely not safe for recreational hikers or birders anymore in the state lands and national lands along the border--they actually have signs up warning Americans to stay out because of the illegal activity.

The roadrunners I have seen around the mines are generally not people shy--and they love raw hamburger. They also love raw rattler--it's amazing to see them kill a snake. I saw a big male kill a 4 foot rattler one day--a NICE Mojave green--and before he could enjoy it, a Harris Hawk came plunging down out of nowhere and stole it LOL. Dang, that roadrunner was p*ssed. I have seen most of the common birds in the Arivaca area while out at the mines--I have never been to the preserve by Arivaca lake because we are always busy doing mining stuff and target shooting when we are out, but the locals say the bird count and variety is wonderful there because of the lake of course.

Well, I'm definitely in a 4 season area, but right now its -3F with 2 feet of snow on the ground, so Tuscon sounds absolutely wonderful right now.
My brother has a condo in Scottsdale I use every once in a while, so I know I love the hot west.

My oldest friend called me from my home town, Boston on my birthday the other day--she had 6 feet of snow in her yard. That is one thing I DON'T miss LOL. Snow is really nice--about once a year, if you are indoors with hot cocoa or hot cider.

That was a fun story with the RoadRunner and Harris Hawk.

And thanks for the update about safe/not safe, and still good birding, things could change by the time I get back down there, but it's nice to know.

Yes, snow, not much fun. Which IS why I moved away from it.

First remove caps lock. It's shouting, even if that isn't your intent.

2nd,

You need $10 worth of cash in your account.

And, to be safe, you shouldn't get the filter until you can have that much in your account balance, and maintain your BAP lvl.

Every Group is going to get a lot of Daily Ads, for the foreseeable future, and then some, no way around that.

So, unless you want to buy the Recycle Upgrade. Don't even bother.

$10 is 10K $0.001 or 20K $0.0005 ads.

Click what you can, and let the rest recycle.
