Advertisers can already target specific countries. But it would be more specific if, for example, Paidverts was translated to Portuguese and i knew i'm not only targeting Portuguese speaking people who can understand english. Adding more languages not only would "explode" our userbase  but would open the door the some language specific advertisers (who don't understand english and don't need their target to understand english either). A year or so back, the programmers forced all of us w/o our knowledge, at first, to be chosen a country and to stick with it. We can send in a support ticket, and they can manually change it, but users can no longer change their country. *The not perfect is esp troubling in some European countries that neighbor each other that have strong nationality in their own country and do not want to be listed as another. BTW, if I was a targeting advertiser, I'd love to advertise to someone who is outside their native country (like vacation or study abroad) and thus doesn't know the local brands and could be swayed to try me out rather than just go to McDonalds or Walmart. I might not get them as a customer for life, but even a trip or 2 can be worth the advertising cost. Since we can't manually change our Country, I as a member can't be targeted when I plan to/ am in another Country. I also hope eventually we can target by region as well, b/c esp in the US, there are a lot of Chains that are regional that I've never heard of or been in. I could easily be swayed to try them out, if I knew about them. I prefer to go even more local to Mom and Pops, but first comes regional chains, then a local Mom and Pop, I would think.
