Waiting for Payza, will exchange at bartermyfunds, while I am dealing now with persons in bitcointalk forum (although trusted, one can never be sure) I think bartermyfunds have a good and trusted team behind it, so unpatiently waiting for Payza, to exchange USD to BTC and why not reinvest here too.

We could add a BMF plug-in in MTV and PV cashier! Or allow to use MTV funds in BMF

I like that idea... let the users transfer their money from BTC to LTC balance in MTV/PV for example, and the profits come back to MTV... BMF has more potential than one would think at first smile

Someone mentioned to make a plugin for other websites too... I like that idea! We earn without 'real' traffic from a search engine. This is the fastest way to get BMF rolling!

The only downside to that is that we already charge fees for depositing and cashing out so users might see it as excessive and not want to move money around. Also, when they are moving money and not cashing out, it is probably to buy or sell something within the site so this would just be a 'tax' on top of the expenses they already pay and it might discourage them from doing that too

That's true Dguy, but why would anyone transfer money just for transferring? tongue I'd think that they only do this when they have a reason to do so?

I agree that we have high fees for deposit/cashout... is there any way to solve this? 5% cashout fee is pretty high...

One example I can think of is consolidating your funds in order to buy an ad pack. If someone has 50 cents in one processor and 75 cents in another then they would want to bring those two together to purchase.

I guess they could move them both to their PV balance to avoid the processor fee but that just adds work for them

Unless I'm mistaken, back when the 24hr PV rule was enabled and all PV funds went to MTV balance (thus I have a ref who is getting taxed 2 times) you can no longer transfer btwn the 2.

I thought that there was also going to be an avl cash for 24hr cashout at both cashier sites, ofc regarding funds that are in PV balance that day or longer and not any funds from say a FTQ or RP sale.

I wouldn't know for sure as I have yet to cashout, nor need to sell my MTV RP's, so can't test it.

This exchanger is, in my opinion, a game changer for MTV. It shows that this company is aiming at big goals and getting things done. Two casinos and an exchanger, the most advanced and complete PTC outhere... I think that MTV proven more than once what this whole project is about. Once again, congratulations to everyone who contributed to all of this for your great work and for never giving up on MTV!

Target advertising is really advanced and impressive, specially for a PTC. It can be compared to big advertising services. Paidverts is, without a doubt, the most advanced PTC on the industry and is evolving and being improved all the time, making it adaptable for the future.

I like the path we're taking. Thank you for never giving up on this company!

"Trusted by over 500K Users"

Is this how many active FBG members exist out of that 2mil total (I assume the 2 casinos have some unique non MTV/PV players)?
Even that seems too high.
You can claim it all you want, I just am genuinely curious of the actual avg total.

There are a few more claims that have yet to be "proven" but I think the courts have ruled if you are careful with your wording, or noone cares to take you to court, it's advantageous to say that.

I was wondering, If someone were to have their 1st exchange be $50K, would 30% loyalty apply to the whole enchilada or just the final $20K and the loyalty bonus for each range would apply to their respective range?

Regarding referral commission, is that per referral that needs to reach the threshold or a combination of all your referrals? Also, just like loyalty, if I could convince even 1 ref to exchange $5000 or more their (and my) first (in my case ref) time, whole enchilada or each threshold?

Both these bonus are "lifetime" and not "that month" or something else less useful, right?

Regarding PaidVerts, I suggest once something that I think that is worth to suggest again. It's about a form of advertising that a portuguese PTC like site have that could be implemented on PaidVerts too.

There is a portuguese web site that shows video ads from big companies, like Vodafone, Portugal Telecom, Ford, Coca-Cola and many others. Each user gets about €0.08 for a viewed ad. It works like this for the user:

  1. The user see a video of about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Usually, the video is the same commercial we see on TV, from a company.
  2. After the video, the user needs to answer a simple question, with three posible answers. The question is about something shown on the video, and is provided by the advertiser. If the ad is about a new BMW model, the question may be something like "What is the model of the car on the video?" or "What is the price of the car on the video?".
  3. If the user picks the correct answer, he is paid. If user selects the wrong answer, he have to see the video again and a different question about the video is shown again, until a correct answer is selected.

This model is efficient, because the user is only paid if he/she understands what is being advertised and the user can see the ad as many times as he/she wants, even after being credited. I think that, because this advertising model works, this portuguese site could attract big advertisers like this big companies. For the user side, it is very good because each ad pays very well. The problem is that this site is not very famous and have a small userbase, which makes it hard to attract more advertisers. But even with a small userbase, they managed to get a few deals with some advertisers (big ones).

I suggest you to check this site ad see for yourself what I'm talking about and how it works. I cannot share the link here, because it is against the rules of the forum, but you can ask me for the site address if you want to check it out.

I think that this kind of video ads combined with targeted advertising would be really interesting for advertisers.

@vultcult,

would it be an option to buy that site? We don't have to create everything ourself.. If we can just buy a website with userbase etc, that would give us the option to make the site bigger. We could make it in English and contact the advertisers to see how this would affect the earnings. Not sure if we have to money for this type of take overs, but maybe that could help expand our portfolio? smile

@gugakip

I don't know. It's possible. I think this site is also in english. The problem (I think) they have with this web site is because they don't use a common model of a referral system like many others. Their referral system works like if user was on a family and can only reffer people from Facebook directly or by e-mail, and it is not possible to reffer someone with an URL. For this reason, I think, they have a small userbase, but the site have a lot of potential.

My brother heard about it on a TV show, where the creator was one of the guests. Then he told me about it. It was on TV because of the innovative advertising system. I think that was this system that attracted those big advertisers to try it out.

Hmmm, that's interesting. Buying this website and implementing a good way to refer people has a lot of potential maybe? wink

I like the idea a lot. It's a bit like you had to copy/type those three lines at the start of PV. I think that offered a lot of value because you had to look at that text and if the ad was of an interest to you, you'd pay more attention...

If we can't buy them we could make something similar, it could be a great addition to PV or to our portfolio (if it's another website)

Maybe it could be easier to implement something like this to PV and treat it as another advertising option.

How established are those brands in the Portuguese Market?
Maybe they pay so much more b/c they are breaking into the Market?
Do you have intimate knowledge of the company actually paying, and how much, for the advertisement? It's been online long enough, that I would think chances are good enough it's not the website owner pretending big companies do advertise, when they actually don't. There's sites to this day claiming $100+ per paid ad, with screenshots of payment processors transactions every couple months with $10K cashouts. Thus, obvious scams still exist, and so I wouldn't put it past anyone to fake Fortune 500 companies.

I do like the (my) idea of answer a random easy enough to answer if you paid attention/read the website "captcha".
Having that option, for an additional fee ofc, can be very worthwhile.

As far as getting Coca Cola to Target/advertise to me (US resident) directly, I'm not sure.
At least in my case, I don't even see the Coca Cola Image (or it's myriad of subsidiary's) unless I go to a fast food restaurant soft drink server, or the soda/juice/water aisle in the grocery store. But, still, I'm well aware of the company. And besides, I'm a very conscious spender. I'm not a couch potato that watches the commercials while letting my mind/body relax to let the commercials seep into my subconscious.

@druth8x

Well, about how serious is the site, I don't know. For me, it seems legit and the only way to advertise on it is through contracts. They have something like a survey page with a list of brands where they ask people what brands they would like most to see on the site. After some time, I think they contact the winning brands and try to make a contract with them. But I'm not sure about how they do it.

About the brands, well, they are very well established in Portugal. The ads I see more on this site are from Portugal Telecom, wich is one of the top 3 telecommunications company in Portugal.
