Struggling to see the vision here at present.

We used to get semi-regular updates around how things are going and what the plans were for the future. Now, all I see is reports of problems, firefighting and reactive sales.

Is there a plan? What are you working on?

I wasn't an investor in ptcShare, but I'm sure they are pretty disappointed to see another month go by without any payment. The lack of payment is one thing, but the complete silence is another. You have to keep people updated or they will lose trust completely.

I see the total and active debts on both Paidverts and ptcShare have crept up again in the last month. That was the one thing that I could check myself that was giving me some sense of optimism.

Where are things with Warclicks? PPMG? PBG? BMF? the new game?

I really agree with fraser, I'm a member since 2014 and never cashed out until this week, now Im seriously thinking to cash out all the money invested here (Im happy that I managed to make 2000$ of profit out of the 3000$ I invested).

Lately, with any new project to invest money in and with the RP market dead for the last months, I don't see any reason to keep the money here. I trust MTV, Marc and Slosumo but I don't know what can I do in here.

It was really hard to write this message, I started it many times and never sent it, since I don't want to create negativity in the community and specially in the staff, but I think the time for me to leave the boat has arrived...

I hope I can find any other place like MTV, I've been searching a long time and never found anything I could trust like MTV (I kept 5000$ for a long time here without making any money but never urgued to cashed it out since I knew my money wouldn't go away, not like in many other sites I've joined).

I really appreciate all the effort that you Marc are doing in carrying this business and try to get it back to where it was, many times I've thought that if I was you, I would had get so frustated long ago and would had left the seat, it's really impressive how you are still trying to make all us earn money. It was also impressive that you would be reachable by private messages, I'm very thankfull for that, I haven't meet a CEO like this before.

Slosumo, the great forgotten, the one that is expected to create Earth and Moon... Althought I never had a conversation with you, I've seen you around for the last 5 years (or so) and always saw you as this guy who can fix it all. As an engineer, I would really like to be like you in the future, being able to deal with all the criticism, create new stuff, solve the problems, being expected to do way more you could do and still not going crazy.

Also the support, I'm thankful for the fasts responses I got from you guys, lately within 1 day. I know it has to be hard to deal with costumers expecting you to solve their problems right at the moment and having hundreds of tickets to pay attention to.

Finally, all the users that have been around for a long time. I feel like this is a great family and I would had always liked to meet any MTV user around and feel this connection like "not knowing each other but knowing both many common stuff and maybe gossip about other users or Marc

This might be the last message I write in the forum (at least for a while). If I end up leaving, the door will always be open and if I see this can be a way of making money again, for sure I will be one of the firsts guys to come back!

There is simply not much to talk about other than us trying to get through the harder months (December-March).
Other than that we´ve had the attacks taking place, which was newsworthy..
The public sheets are showing you exactly what is coming in except for a $100 a day entry for ptcshare give or take.
PPMG and PBG results are on our portfolio as well.
As per ptcshare investors, they´ve been repaid in full plus some profits, only a part of profits is left to pay, so it´s not like we´ve got people´s funds locked up or anything.

Only thing I can mention (Which I was planning not to) is the launch of a new website in a few days.
It´s 1 of the 2 projects we are working on without really saying much about it.

Oh and the fact that we fired an employee a week or so ago due to bad behavior and are training another one of our employees to fill up the void, while saving us $600 a month in monthly costs.

I agree that we´ve been lacking news about Warclicks though, I will ask Andraz to write something for you guys.

@Vicura: If it wasn´t for my promise to repay the FTQ, I wouldn´t have gone through the hardship, but I am a man of my word, so here I am, trying to make it work.

Decided to write a follow up post.
Whenever I ditch the business attire and give you my actual opinion/feelings, it ends up backfiring or noone seemingly caring about it usually, but here goes nothing..

Tons of things I wanted to build with MTV never got off the floor due to various reasons I have never been able to properly communicate.
When I became the CEO, these forums were incredibly busy, the team was being cheered for, when traveling through Poland and Slovenia I felt somewhat of a celebrity on multiple occasions as I ran into mtv investors who would then want to make pictures with/of me, spot me in clubs etc etc..

The industry is no longer what it used to be.
Crypto became big, everyone left the online earnings industry and that includes us.
The 100x-craze nullified many of the efforts I made to "paint a realistic picture" for many of the users here..
I already struggled with changing people´s mindsets because of the era of Jo and then when it seemed like people actually caught onto the vision and idea of longer term sustainable income, crypto came around and tons of people moved over there.

Vicura is right..
It´s hard for us to feel excited about "being public" when it feels like many people either don´t read, don´t care or only show up to criticize things.
I also miss the "warm community feeling".

So combining the dreams I had being a younger CEO vaporizing into thin air with losing most of the community has made it hard to continue being the same public figure.
I´ve also dealt with major personal losses, scammers and what not..

If setting up offshore businesses with proper licensing and such would have been easy and cheap, I would have built things that go way beyond your wildest dreams.
But the fact of the matter is that it´s not and there are various reasons as to why I either can´t or wouldn´t want to build certain businesses under the MTV-holding.

Andraz and I are trying our best to work within the limits which MTV poses upon us. We really are.

Things would be a lot easier if our community was as big and active like it used to be.. We could fund entirely different projects, make use of people´s connections and quite frankly get "that warm, fuzzy feeling" when coming to the forum.

So yeah.. It´s hard for me to come to the forum and basically make updates which can´t be much more than "We´ve covered our basic needs for the month", as that´s not the news I want to be writing.
MTV should have been so much more, years ago already, but we have been forced to take the route we are currently on and it´s much, much slower.

P.S.: It would genuinely mean a lot to the team and me if we could get some support whenever we release our new projects. It would be very much appreciated.

I'll try to write some update on War Clicks and the new game this weekend.

In short, the game is at this moment largely "in my head", as it's still in prototype phase, and without finding proper time to spec up the overall direction of it, wouldn't do it justice. A very basic prototype is due next week to be shown to the game's genre community, based on which feedback I will continue working towards a pre-alpha version. Once the main game direction is set in place, our other programmer will chip in, as well as design preparations and several months in-advance marketing will begin. The overall project is designed to fill craving/need in the sub-genre of idles/incremental, as well as cover many pain points of War Clicks, which made it very hard to distribute.

Because of those reasons announcing any specifics here felt short-sighted and waste of my time, which was needed elsewhere. If you guys would like, I could include you in the prototype here, but again, it feels like it wouldn't do the project justice, announcing details which are still subject to change in the following weeks - because again, I won't have the time to properly expand on the full idea/game direction, till then. If you accept the lack of full information, I could share it to any of you on request, but publicly here, I'd rather see us present it properly end of month.

With a busy schedule, it's hard to sometimes find even 5 minutes to post here properly, as it can cause a delay in other urgent matters we have to attend to - like in my case sometimes, catching up on a few more tickets. So we prefer to do it when we've got significant developments to write about.

@Vicura If you leave, I wish you all the best! Unfortunately MTV for an investor is definitely "boring" these days, so we do understand where these frustrations come from. But we are simply doing the best we can with the given situation and using our time where it can be used best - which does sometimes mean not posting meaningful news that don't exist.

For most of those that are left and have been here for a significant amount of time, I think it's fair to say users collectively do not doubt your intentions. You have proven that you are trying to run the business in an honest manner.

However, it's statements like:

...that are holding you back. Why would anyone in there right mind, back a crowdfunded business that is openly stating that they are not being transparent?

Personally, I have money circulating in here and that's all it is doing. It would be irresponsible to put in any more money when there are clearly systemic issues that I am not being told about. I'm certain I'm not the only person with this mindset.

Also:

is exactly the news you should be writing. Ego's need to be left at the door. Calling yourself a CEO doesn't make you one. Straight talking and making the difficult decisions does. Remember you said you were starting a YouTube channel? How many videos did you do? Have a look on YouTube at the subscriber numbers of 1 person in a garage buying stuff at charity shops and flipping it on eBay. It's massive. Imagine what they would be like, if someone running a business like this, documented the ups AND DOWNS of what that really meant.

And then there's:

My takeaway from this is that you know the solution, but you're not prepared to do anything about it. We have 4 assets:

Paidverts, ptcShare, PPMG and Coinflip

The function of the first 2 are not really income generating, but they serve to bring attention.

PPMG has made $338k and Coinflip $842k

Coinflip should be made available using satoshis on the Lightning network. This would be a ready made winning product being set up where massive traffic is already flowing.

All spare revenue should be spent on the promotion of PPMG. Once it grows, that revenue should be spent on the promotion of PBG. Ultimately the PBG market is far bigger than PPMG, but for now people want to buy and hold bitcoin.

As for Warclicks and the new game, these are pet projects of people who wish to be game developers. There is nothing wrong with that, they are just not priorities.

As for warm and fuzzy...we all want that, that's why we get a dog. If you're looking for warm and fuzzy as a CEO you're in for a long time of disappointment.

I wish you the best, I genuinely do, but you've got to rediscover your mojo. I believe you can and will...otherwise I wouldn't still be here.

@fraser If we were able to pursue new projects and give meaningful reasons for investors to invest more money there would be funding projects open in the project funding page. Whatever we can pursue and has a high chance of repaying back investors in decent time frames has been made available to fund as a project. If we don't have good options for that, we have no reason to ask investors to fund something that's likely not going to make a profit, or can't be pursued properly.

Whatever information we have to hold back we do for security of the business and its investors and increasing the chances of repaying them as fast as possible. I know it's not much to go by from your point of view, but we're taking decisions in the best interest of the business. Not because we are young, stupid or “because of our ego”, but because there are simply very good reasons for that and many of these choices are very hard to make, but are needed – holding back certain information is definitely one of them.

As for new games being pet projects – for our company, it's currently the best way we can reduce costs for MTV and support our office (which i.e. also Allows me to work for MTV), while also working towards a stream of income shared with MTV we can develop, that takes time to setup, but we have more control over. It is also not as restrained by the many boundaries MTV is. Most other type projects we simply can't work on. Also again, the games are not MTV's focus at all.

The focus is on improving the existing projects – PV, PTC, PBG and PPMG, with low cost/maintenance required to make the most impactful changes for those costs.

I don't know if this is discussed before, but why not change direction completely
and go into crypto also. Swap all the RP's into ERC20 tokens, make a supply of 1Billion
for example. Make a good funded White Paper and start a ico ( as a crowdfunding ) to raise funds
to make some serious working products.

There is no reason to expose yourself so publicly, providing public support for a program is WORK and super stressful. Hell, I removed the abilities to create support tickets for 6 months in my own program.
Providing daily support can and will wear you down.

I vote allocate some personal time and do not forget to live. I believe in Marc, Slosumo and the MTV team. just give them time to build defenses against the hack attacks.

Wouldnt it be possible to also add Payeer as an option in BMF ?
They are not really cheap with converting payeer to LTC and maybe you can give us a better deal with BMF ?
I could buy adpacks directly with it as the cheapest option but then my cashout to ltc will be blocked for 2 weeks

To use payeer in such a fashion, we need a money business service license.
It´s a license that has a minimum volume a day requirement which we do not meet and even if we do, it´s not an easy license to get.
If you operate without it, payeer will freeze your account.

In my opinion everything seems to be at a standstill. I never cashed out from the project and have only invested. PV and PTC requires my daily attention to get scraps from initial investments. In crypto with simple holds and compounded interests I get higher returns by doing nothing. At this level PV and PTC aren’t great project just a side project I use to accumulate shares for one day when they will raise in value. I believe the managing organe should just accept that certain things don’t work. If some dumb altcoins can manage to get invested I believe we, with a real portfolio should be able to reach something. I looked around and there seems to be lots of options. We could simply copy what works best outside. For example diversity fundz business plan works why not copy the idea and implement it ?
