So the only way to take us offline should be via overwhelming incapsula. And that's achievable, but requires a lot of resources on behalf of the attacker. And frankly, not really worth it! So fingers crossed that's the end of any disruptions for at a least a while! Now back to the usual problems / workload Scaling to deal with our traffic, and trying to clear the massive development queue! In the next week or so, we'll be installing SSL. And we're buying the fancy one so that it'll give you that green navigation bar. Something like this: https://www.instantssl.com/ssl-certificate-products/ssl/ssl-certificate-ev.html --- The actual security rammifications of such are minimal, we've already addressed those this last week... This is just a pretty visual display / gimmick to demonstrate to users that we've dealt with the real security issues. And SSL is just the icing on the cake. Bit of a hefty investment at 350euros/website/year (minimum 2years). But seeing as we're a financial platform; somewhat necessary I think! And PayPal has begun releasing our funds; though its a bit of a dribble right now... So today i've been using the mass payments thing to send out 40+ transactions in just ~2minutes. So that's much easier! And i've asked Carlos to fund the PayPal account via Bank Wire -- it'll take a week. But it'll guarantee that we clear all the pending cashouts within the next week or so. And not have to wait on this drip of released funds. As I think it may take a while to release $13k+ (there's 32k+ in the account... but I think most of that came in during the second half of the month; so it'll be a while before it unlocks) Anyway, that's in motion! I'll do another regular PV ad issue today + tomorrow, and then on Monday I want to do the big one! I replied to the bulk response on the tickets again. Hopefully in the next few days we can get close to current time on support tickets.  I still notice the incapsula error 20 every so often for a few minutes at a time. Is this just something overwhelming incapsula? Normmaly a transfer to Paypal take 2 or 3 days here in Portugal. But can take up to 5 business days. So Jo said 5 days for people relax a bit more. We'll get SSL for both websites. And the minimum paypal cashout is now $2. However, i'm working through the pending cashouts from the oldest backwards... So it'll take a while to get to the newer mini ones. And funding by bank transfer takes up to 8 working days according to their site... But if it arrives more quickly, all the better. But all those will be cleared as sufficient funds release / Carlos gets the bank wire through the PayPal. ----- And we just had another spell of downtime... I'm pretty sure that was an error, rather than an attack -- as our server hadn't properly white listed the incapsula IP ranges. So it was blocking legitimate traffic. But i'm double checking that with iweb at the moment; as we really need to put an end to this circumvention of our DDOS protection. As it's a bit annoying, paying for DDOS protection; but we can't install it properly for it to actually work. Especially given that these attacks are of such tiny scale; they really should not be taking down a $4million company. It's really silly! Anyway - back to work! Try and clear the Payza cashouts now. It's because there are ads queued up in the issue cron (list) -- so your account has ads on the way. But they haven't been issued to you yet. So that micro ads button thinks you've got ads - even though you don't. And thereby, doesn't issue you any. We'll fix that ASAP. And get a fresh IP address that we'll keep hidden via a different DNS setup.
