I honestly don't understand why we're having such problems implementing incapsulas DDOS protection. I cannot believe between iweb (our host), incapsula (our DDOS protection) and our 3 programmers. That we can't seem to stop the attacker from hitting us directly, bypassing Incapsula all together. We'll keep working at it, and in the meantime, irrelevant of any short spells of downtime; we'll try and get back to business as usual! Keep them in the game, and get people motivated again after an entire week of disruption. Last night I sent out 663 paypal cashouts, and i've done half a dozen today also - but overnight, PP released hardly any funds. (I guess it was a slow deposit night this time, 30days ago!) ... Carlos has also sent a little wire to PayPal which will arrive in the coming days, and that'll speed up the cashouts process if the 30day rolling reserve doesn't release before that. Today, i'll work on the other payment processor cashouts, paying as many of those as I can manually. And i've got a 200 support tickets to do as well.  Share dividend in a minute! Though obviously it's going to be crippled by our downtime. What a tricky patch... when we were struggling, nobody cared. And now we're finally doing well; people are trying to destroy us! That is still amazing dividends considering all of the issues. I really hope we can get the security issues under control there must be a better way of mitigating DDOS.

You can't really tell shareholders what to do... If they're worried, or in the mood to bank some profit / release some cash, they'll sell regardless.We just need to give people reasons to buy shares! Good dividends, plus continuous demand should sort that. And if we can keep PV online for more than 5minutes at a time; that'll sort that. Just needs a little time. -- I've sent the programmers a few things; 1) Chasing up the SSL installation. Not that it'll help much with our current issue - but it's a step foward & looks good! 2) Pushing the need for more user side security, with 2 factor authentication etc. Check that potential cookie stealing thing. And stop people changing their email addresses, to prevent account hijacking. 3) I've asked Paul and Daniel to break off into two groups. With one doing the high priority chores, optimization stuff, admin controls, bulk payments etc. And the other actually getting one with some revenue generating portfolio products. As we're stuck in maintenance mode right now; we need to keep pushing forwards! Otherwise we won't get more funding to actually enable progression.

I do, but I don't want to show you yet. It needs work; and with design stuff - it's a bad idea to show anything other than the finished product / proposal. As otherwise it generally looks terrible / hopeless!I'm actually waiting on Rayner to fire off the next proposal. --- And the big ad issue i'll do randomly (soon)... I'm trying to sort out the securitiy first. Otherwise you know what will happen; we'll do a big issue. Everyone gets excited / starts spreading the word. And then the attacker will take us offline; and its all for nothing. It'll actually backfire, as people lose high value ads, lose BAP, which even if/when refunded will be disappointing.

Maybe the cheapest route and also for long term is to just keep upgrading servers. If there is more then enough resources to withstand the attack plus traffic there is no way to take it down lol.

I only sell some of my shares ~once a month when I need the money. I'd much rather keep them all if I could ^^@justin more servers don't necessarily help against ddos attacks. If the attacker can bypass the DDoS protection it's just as easy to put down two,three,10 servers as it is to put down just one. You hardly need any hardware to do that.

Ok, the attacker is playing nice again. And we now know how he's getting our new IP address, and then attacking us directly.So we'll sort that out today. And then we should be alright. And we'll pay him his $100 as he's been more help than our host + DDOS protection combined. * And it seems there's a big flaw with Incapsula's protection as a whole. People like Prolexic give you a protected IP address. So there is absolutely no way to get around their protection. However incpasula is just a proxy; if your real IP address is known. Their protection is completely useless... They don't advertise that! Or even include those details on their setup instructions, that it's vital you hide your IP address and don't use your servers webmail (as they don't protect that either!) Right... back to iweb! Get some new IP's, again! And then that will hopefully be it for a while. Jo

Hi Jo.Do you think to contract that hacker? He know what he's doing and can improve the security of the website. I think it's a good way to solve all the problems. I tell you to many times that but I help you with support tickets if you wan't for free. I don't wan't your money, just have a nice business where everyone can trust. It's best for all. And I know you platform isn't ready for that but isn't diffucult at all putting me on the database for that. I just wan't you to help the programmers to solve the security problem and if you do that faster, it will be better for you, for me and for everyone. Regards

I just received a SUPER quick 250$ withdrawal to STP. I think the average time on my withdrawals via STP is under 12 hours lol. Guess I always request them just before Jo sends them out. Thanks!

well Jo,I have been here for quite a long time and regarding my experience plus all member's comments I get that it's time for you to get help. For some reason, once we are ready to sky-rocket we find trouble and then we take long time to recover. It's really annoying for me that gaming products are added plus programmers designing new good-looking site when old features like EF not working and we experience basic security problems. Myself and my referrals have CONSTANTLY supported you even if the debt issue(a whole month out of biz) and reckless position about EF because we still want to believe. It's very human to get overwhelmed with stuff and make mistakes but it's very wise to admit it and just get qualified staff to make your life easier. We are in the same ship.
