And we are working on exactly that... Thats one of Carlos' projects, pending our merchant account in Mauritius. Which may actually be finalized towards the end of this month. What Carlos is proposing to do, is basically what PayPal is. They are basically a bank, based in Luxemberg. For which they permit users to open accounts with their bank. And for all essential purposes, they are a bank in everything but name. That is what we are working towards; as then you can open accounts with our bank. We can issue you debit cards for cashing out. And it'll enable direct credit card purchasing, bank deposits and all the rest of it. It's a massive undertaking though. So it won't appear overnight. But we are working on it. ----- And what I like the last few days... Is that SloSumo has been creating the news topics, and updating you with the programming side of things. A really simple step... but it's the first signs of the evolution of this business. It's no longer me doing everything. I have my set of problems to tackle, the programmers are working on their own issues (this hard drive thing today + the ad issue errors). And Carlos is tackling PayPal. But this is good... We'll build on this a lot more throughout the year. As we bring product managers on board, who will lift the ideas submitted by users (when we bring the programming queue on-site). And they will then take those projects under their wing - to allocate the necessary dev funding to wherever it needs to go. And to turn the project into a reality. And all this happens independently of any other unit in the business. So it can be scaled like crazy... Unlimited ideas. Unlimited crowd funding. Unlimited portfolio scaling! Initially that was unlimited funding for my personal ideas. But it can extend well beyond that. I am just envisaging what a future homepage will look like for MTV. I think it'll be more of a split screen type thing - one half pitching to investors to fund the projects & share revenues from our communal portfolio. And another pitching to entrepreneurs to submit their ideas, get free funding and an instant cut into the business we create with their inspiration.
