It´s an useless fight and argument. Don´t think it´s easy for me to be repeating in each topic the same message when it would be MUCH EASIER if the site were offline, but since they don´t put the site offline I do my mod job and repeat the same message in every topic. I am not an onwer. If someday I am, I might do things differently. Or not. That being said, the day you have your site let me know and I will subscribe. Please give it some time and come back later, it should be fixed by then. pflip Traffic Value: $6,326.35424 Italy 12 like this post 0 people 08/04/2015 17:01 Catt, believe me, the sites I worked on, in the past couldn,t' afford to be down for more than 1 minute.   Just in penalties towards my company were in the range of 10 milion $ for half day downtime. Our designs and architectures were dealing with the 5th or 6th "9", which means that the system should stay up 99,9999% of the time. I don't expect nor demand that MTV should be designed and managed in that way, but surely after more than 1 year simple maintenance procedures and communication protocol should be well established. My rants and complaint are all with the goal to improve MTV. If you see all my comments I try always to provide suggestions and way to handle things. If they listen fine, if they don't I'll continue to rant and complain. And , of course, nothing against you or the other mods. B/c that was posted b4 we were sent hundreds of recycled ads, plus at least 25 (for me) "5-10c issue" ads. The post by Slosumo said "I" not Programmers. He is known to talk about the Programmers, if that's the reason. He is known to delay sending the Ads, even when no Site Issue is occurring.
