It's the other side of the coin of pitching an idea and MTV developing it while you own a %. I think MTV can do both because of its big social network. I'm thinking about a platform like Y-combinator. It's founded by two nineties internet superheros that made a lot of dough from these early days. When they got filthy rich they were looking for another purpose in life. They decided to create a platform where people can pitch their ideas in IT & Software development (MTV can keep it broader). If they think an idea is any good, they support them with standardized loans of about $15000 and their expertise.
