Also having 486*60 banners up in the surf screen would be a big revenue maker with a proper captcha. I believe mark was also talking about banner spaces in MTV. I think they should really be sold seperately and they can bring in a lot of revenue. You can have like 10 banners in rotation avaialble in the surf screen and ask 10$ per hour each that will generate max  100$ per hour and up to 2400$ per day in pure profit and easy to built. You can even make it easier to access and have 50 banners in rotation for 2$ per hour. If all spots are sold you also get 2400$ in profit. We should have that included with your options as well. "nothing but programers time" is not true. AWS is not free. It's quite expensive. In Sep or whatever, we are going to lower the costs a lot more, and they are constantly messing around with optimizing our usage. I just got back from Los Angeles again where there is hard to find anything cheaper than 25 dollars. Normally in penny auction sites at least in Finland you buy a pack of bidding credits. For example 20 bids for 10€/$ and maybe 100 bids fo 49€ or if you already have bid credits you can use those to bid for package of bid credits. Then you can use those credits to bid for a product, one bid normally increases the price by one cent. If you had bought the 20 bid package and you bid once then you have paid 0,50 so far and if your bid wins then you have to pay the price you bid for which can be for example 10€ for a laptop. Losing bidders dont need to pay for the sums they have bid for, as they have already paid for their bids. Now the auctioneer (MTV) will get 10€+ (1000*0,50€)=510€ Penny auctions usually have a bidding robot that users can set to automatically bid when someone else bids. Auctions also have a time limit like 24 hours and the timer will increase by few seconds after every bid.
