There are 18 black slots, 18 red slots and two green slots (0 and 00) on a US roulette wheel*. Your chances of hitting a black or red are equal, 47.4%. This translates to a 52.6% probability that the house will be scooping up all your chips on a black/red bet. The 5.26% 'spread' is known as the house edge.
The European version of this game has only one green slot (zero), which reduces the spread to 2.7%.

That means all the casinos are working that way? Only cause of 0 they are theoreticaly makeing profits ?

But the houseedge in most casino's is way higher, like 10-20% I read. Here it's more like 1-5%

They say they don't make money on the house edge but on betting schemes by people who think they can beat the edge
