I still have not voted, because I'm not sure
1- understand that being a high price (currently, by the current situation), people do not want to buy at this price RP, and want to remove the limit.
2- but ... I also sympathize with the people to see prices fall, they will sell the RP at a very low price and they will lose their investment

There are better methods, that have been brought up than a no limit.

What this will do is:
1. Allow ppl to leave with less $ (thus they can't help as much when they come back). And, they will feel forced to sell lower, as it won't rise back up either in the immediate future, and they want anything they can get out of here.
2. Allow daytraders to buy more.
3. Most likely it will actually keep dropping so much that they will have to lower the min in digits again, like they did near the end of Jo's reign. If you think $0.001 is the lowest it will get, I hope you are right...but ppl did put buy bids at $0.00005 when they could.
4. How will it go back up, in the near future as daytraders love any min profit? If the price ends up being buy at $0.0001 and sell at $0.00011, they'll do it and there will be an even bigger RP blockade there.

Like I said, there are better ideas.
The main one of letting anyone buy under 1c, but can't sell those for a certain period of time (months/until 1c isn't lowest sell bid) has a lot of positives. I'd like to hear the negatives. I know that those first in line in the 1c queue would be overlooked, but at least, eventually those in the 1c queue will find a buyer at under 1c. Then, it's up to the buyers to see that oh no there is only 3mil 1c out there and noone is even filling my $0.009 buy bid. Guess I better buy at 1c, b/c finally the wave is about to turn.

@Uganka, I know I am one of the few who made a fortune in MTV and one of a still small crowd who are in profits. But it doesn't make a damn difference. In fact, the people in loss should be the most active people to vote yes. If MTV disappears tomorrow, it won't make a difference for me, I'm in big profits and I make a good living. If the price limit gets removed, the memberbase cleaning up will occur, and MTV will rake fees, people will be more active in the market, there will be a higher interest and traffic into MTV, etc. I see only positive aspects of removing the limit.

The only reason that I read about people voting No is they are in loss and they want to sell their shares at $0.10.... I think they might forget (how can you forget that), that if nobody buys, your shares worth nothing (other than the dividends earned)..

@Faby1958, I would like to tell you are not right, but you might actually be...

I don't get why so many people ask why are others voting "no" because in my opinion, I don't see why someone would vote "no" unless they intended to cashout as soon as they possibly can. They know that if the 0.1 barrier is removed, they won't be able to get as much money. Removing the barrier is the best way to get the market living again. The solution is not fake swaps or ref contents or any quick fix.

Would you rather it be a 95% vote yes, and through email etc like the terms say?

Removing the limit is the only way to create opportunities. If you remove the 48K of Paidverts, or cut it into a few more investments, and sell them: I would surely buy a few of it/re-invest the money I have into the 130%.

And I suggest you close the Market until the decision, as if you will remove it the people which are buying right now will get a big loss.

Everyone of MTV/PV users have the right for his own opinion. Please, don't use your authority to influence on their choice.

@brainy I did not say to keep increasing the limit, this will give false valuation.

if we removed the limit do you think there will be more deposits to buy cheap RP?! most of you will answer yes. but I answer No. what will happen that the members who lost the trust and want to give up, will sell their RPs as fast as possible to cashout, so they will accepts the bids whatever the price is, more millions of shares will be listed to sell because there are members want to get more shares, the price will keep falling until it hit the lowest limit (if there is limit).

we are now facing hard times in MTV, the people who are lost trust are much more who are still trust this business, and the price of .005$ per RP, will lead to more people loosing the trust (I am not one of them for sure, I will not leave MTV). MTV will not benefit anything from removing the limit, you said there will be more transactions thus high result, yes that is true, but the fee will reduce the debt, will not create fresh money.

What MTV would get with removing of limit?

Like it was mentioned allready, people want to sell shares, cause they want to leave MTV. So what does MTV profite with that? 0.5% from transaction? You do not really need to be a genie to know that :/

Come on guys and girls, do we really need to discus about that? Do we really need to waste time and energy cause of few $ MTV could earn with that ?

Simply focus on products that may bring big cash in and stop wasting time and energy for little things like that..

@ Marc

Can you please read Support ticket #198687. It is about a possible way how to attract really big cash. In case if you are not interested, please just answear and say it so.

advantages of removing RPs price floor

1- more people will deposit for trading RPs and we will have RPs tranfer fee income in our daily result.
2- people won't get more BAP by trading RP/BAP, therefore they will have to buy adpacks in PV. it will improve the value of daily ad issue.
3- FTQ would be effected, because more users sold their RP and have money to invet in FTQ.
4- cash flow would be better and mtv become more active and attractive. (how do you feel when you visit mtv for first time and see RPs are for sale at hundreds of pages? by having an active sharemarket we will show those first time users that mtv is not a nearly dead program.)

if people are afraid that those who will buy at new minimum and then sell at let say 0.5c, those shares should have some time stamp and we wouldn't be able to sell them for few months, or not lower than (reasonable price)

@Der_Volgen84 I just give my opinion like any other member.

And I gave it all out to try to help MTV survive.

I said all I had to say. All the rest will be useless fights/arguments.

Let see the results in 3 days.
