This forum is a mess. Some topics should be deleted like those on DigAds and members posting about it banned. On all PTC forums I know, all members promoting another site are banned. Why not here? It's ridiculous to allow some members promoting (some with their link), discussing and giving detailed information on another program.

And what about all spamming and stupid posts by members that dont take time to check what has been answered before or dont see the difference between a forum and a chat room? Those posts should be deleted.

I know I've written it many times: Daily News must be locked to Jo and team. Have you ever tried to find Jo's posts among all members' posts in the Daily News? It requires too much time and a great patience...

Adding buttons "Reply" and "Quote" will be really useful as it will be easier to follow a discussion what shall reduce number of posts. Being able to "Delete" our posts would also be great.

In Category "Questions", adding 3 subcategories will help: 1- Ads Issues 2- Deposits Issues 3- Payouts Issues. You will quickly see the results by a cleaner forum. For example, with Ad Issues, a mod can write a new topic giving information about the situation like "Today Ad Issues" and the post: We are aware about ads issues and that you didnt receive ads. Programmers are working to fix it ASAP. Update will be post when issue is resolved." The day after, all posts in this subcategory could be erased as they will be useless. Less posts: better server ressources!!!

We urgently need mods to clean up forum to make it serious and informative. When I sent a ticket about this, Slosumo answered me that team wont have time until next year. OK it's a priority matter.

Waiting for a deeply restructuring forum in 2015, small steps can be done right now. A few simple rules, 2-3 mods and PV reputation will be enhanced as well as members' experience. This forum is our public window that can be view by all web surfers.

I understand PV/MTV lacks employees and that fixing IT and ads issues recurring problems is the priority. But many skilled members can help with the forum and many other tasks.

Let's be honest...

I noticed the same lack, and I talked about it on my thread.

But actually it's not the only trouble we have.
This entire site is goin' to be a mess and I also notice a lack of professionality.

I'm really patient...but I'm starting to understand and agree to some complaints.

@Beljalex, When someone creates a listing in MTV's Monitor, that program is given a special thread for people to discuss about the program. That's the reason why there's a section called "Monitor" in the forum. That being said, other than the thread created by MikeMazzone for that specific program in the Monitor section, no other thread should be created to discuss other programs.

I think the reason why other people started putting their ref links is because Mike Mazzone did it first in the DigAdz thread. Since Mike is the one overseeing the Monitor, others thought it's okay to post ref links as well.

IMO, those threads should only be used to discuss the program and no ref link should be posted.

other ptcs bought a separate script for their forum and their site that's why you see their sites and a forum on a different address, mtv has a custom script which has everything on the same address

so...what's the difference between "spamming on monitor section" and "spamming everywhere" ?

This forum has no rules...and that's a BIG underrate.

I agree and I would happily help out where I can. I also feel that we should update the FAQ so more of the questions that is asked could be answered faster.

Perhaps a Delete Button, similar to the Like/Disagree Buttons? Get enough unique votes and it gets "hidden" and flagged to the Forum Monitors/Admin for possible deletion.

Michael, I dont think it would be really useful as our future mods are in the forum for months and they will know exactly which posts to delete without having to ask other members to vote. Furthermore, it would take much server resources.

Another additional request and I'm sorry if this has been mentioned before.

Sometimes, I'm a bit confused choosing the topic between the read and the unread one and MTV's forum might be better if this little idea could be added.

For example:

Thank you. (I know this is not necessary but it might be helpful for at least someone)

As  have stated several times already, I am completely against moderation, except
some kind of voting moderation.

However if the "moderator" lobby wins, I will not be sad either.
The forum is messy. Nobody can deny it. smile

Since MTV/PV have various and very different features and its different and varying procedures 1 or 2 moderators can't do much on Moderation of MTV Forum.
In the recent PV Debt Swap, some members whose names were proposed by some members as Moderators exposed their lack of knowledge and confidence in the most important Debt Swap matter of MTV/PV.
On the other hand some unexpected members exposed their knowledge and confidence in Jo and  made so many posts to bring confidence in unsatisfied members about Debt Swap.
The above said example is line with Jo's plan to link moderation of Forum linking with Share Holders Control Panel.

Quote Jo,
"I'm not too worried about a messy forum... We'll just wipe the questions / misc threads every once in a while.
The daily news section is clean, as only I can post new threads there. All the other sections aren't that important.
So long as whoever posts their question anywhere else, gets at least one reply; happy days!
I'm also thinking about creating a live support type application; where users can "Talk to a shareholder"

And then anyone with __+ shares can thereby become a volunteer helper (just to deal with basic questions). Anything requiring actually editing a users account; will have to be referred to a support ticket."
