i think marc is on holiday as i seen a picture on facebook. slosumo i dont know why he doesnt respond to anything. They always keep telling that they spend so much time on the sites in the background  but i also have more and more doubts about that because they dont earn anything themself on it either.

Been also waiting more then usual on cashouts

If it’s ‘over’ then I hope they have the decency to sell the site and not take away our hard work

And what is happening with Carlos? He is the site owner is he not? What is his situation and is he the source of the problem?

The answers to pretty much everything you guys are worried about/asking have already been given.

1) We've had to change the way we distribute the ads, with only the available ad pool, NOT because the "site is closing", but to be able to keep running it. Ad issues as we were doing them to help keep activity on PV/PTC up were eating too much into the development funds, and especially after the downtime issues, we had to make that change.

2) We can't keep doing site improvements because of lack of development funds. We've been super clear on this, and it should come under no surprise that this was severely affected after the multiple downtimes in the past year (Sept + Dec + April). Whenever we have any news on any development, we post them. If there are none, it's because... well there are none. With limited development funds & especially Summer around, we can't force i.e. our system admin and lead programmer to for example, finally get that DB downsize/improvements done. They have their own limited time, family responsibilities, and money they have to mostly earn elsewhere - all combined makes them (especially in summer) extremely hard to be available. And they're not easily replaceable, not with without a massive budget.

3) Because of 2), we were also forced to completely downscale our costs where ever still possible <- which now also means that even I can't put in as much work in anymore (or be as active on the forums etc.), because I have to make a living elsewhere.

4) PPMG Project funding repayment - This is absolutely our fault and should have given a clear answer on-time. It is something I should've followed up sooner as well, and take it as an excuse or however, but since start of mid June, I had to focus most of my energy in finding 3rd party work, find and setup clients to make a living. Despite popular belief, I can't live in a box and work from a cafe, I need to make a living. Setting up good and consistent freelance work takes time, especially early on - but because I'm committed to still help run MTV, is why I'm doing that, and not just taking a well-paid full-time job, in which case I wouldn't be able to work for MTV at all.

The project funding will be re-paid in RPs soon. We won't announce exact details in advance until it is done, as several of you (who are not even invested in the project) will otherwise try to take advantage of RP manipulation.

In terms of "the plan"/what's being done to improve things, we've written at large at what is and isn't being done as well:

1) not a lot can be done without a budget/time/people (You say "but so much was constantly done in the old PV days" - yes, but it was practically all being done out of user investment and not really a profitable business -> hence the constant swaps from Jo)

2) Our only option right now (especially after the severe hits of several big downtimes) is to operate on as low costs/staff as possible, and get a few things/improvements/products out whenever/as soon as possible:
- improved server stability & reduce server costs (still ongoing, but it can't be sorted by itself)
- We're still to finish 2 games, but as mentioned I'll need more time for that (roughly expected releases Q1 2023 & Q4 2023), as I currently have to focus on freelance work to make a living. Even if you don't understand reasoning/hate the idea of those games, they'll still be released at some point and provide some extra revenue/Development funds
- There are some more things I want to write about a bit more when I have some more free time and it's a bit further, but you might have noticed our mod Orlando started posting some SEO articles. He's taken the initiative of something, that could over time develop into another significant revenue stream - essentially we're looking to have blogs of all of our sites, as they have decently to very high Domain Authority, and we've had a lot of offers of selling guest posting and selling backlinks. If over time this grows enough we could also get more members involved into creation of this content, and create significant affiliate revenue as well.

So this is another potential low-cost product that could eventually help out the situation, but it'll simply take time. Props to Orlando for stepping forward and trying to make something happen, he's got my full support with that as this is definitely something we can tap into over time.

just a quick response about the scaling down. Why is it so hard to take down Payeer casino and maybe barter my funds and remove all the running admin ads on them in pv and ptcshare. It doesnt effect much in costs maybe but it shouldnt be to hard to find some spare minutes to get that done.

Also about devolpments, its not me or the crowd that mentioned the introduction of faucetpay to our sites , but this would definately be a boost for the sites to implement that

It's not hard to take down, and like you said they're not really affecting any costs. If anything, these domains have decent domain authority, and can be used for future link building with blogs, so they still have potential future value, without any real ongoing costs.

Also BMF, will be re-instated as soon as possible, as it's still valuable to us for some exchanges. But currently it's in maintenance as it was causing some performance issues, and until that is sorted first, we can't risk it turning it back up just yet. But once we can, it still has future value for even some PM->BTC exchanges, especially.

Shutting these domains off would just destroy all of their authority and potential future use.

@Faucetpay and any other similar methods, I'd love us to add them, but there's right now simply no one who can integrate them. I don't have the time, and our lead dev is also hard to reach, but after the DB optimization finally goes through, then any hours he will have available he could finally start chipping away at various additions like this, and other minor tasks we have lists of.

My concern with these regularly scheduled sales is that you are training members to wait for sales and thus lowering revenue by 30%. If people know a sale is going to come up once per month they are going to hold off on spending so instead of giving them $1 in value, we are giving them $1.30. This needs to be made up somewhere else

We did these tests several times. Months without any sales, or consistent small sales, or months of big sales, or consistent small sales with bigger sale a few times a year. The last have always resulted in the most ads sold.

You have to keep in mind that many BA purchasers, are also buying just to play games and not for stocking up BAP, and they can represent a sizeable amount of BA sales, and these will always buy on events.

We do these tests once or twice per year, but having sales definitely brings in more overall revenue than not having them.

The funniest thing is that in PTCShare, when you go from 360,000-720,000 BAPs to 720,000-1,500,000 BAPs, you get the incredible amount of 0.003 more per daily ad issue.
This means that if you have 1,480,000 BAPs, you get $0,024 per ad issue. tongue

What is the motive for anyone to buy BAs since the daily free BAPs are more than daily ads consume?

I was lucky, because I seen always what happening here.... and reported lot of times here , if something not working well.... ( captcha , APS issue for downtime and others ). Few members attacking me here for this reasons.  But  they are not solved lot of times so I always  know, what will be my next step. My stats from PTCSH:

It is more than breakeven.....
Thank you Ptcshare.

Hi how distribution algoritm works on ptcshare?, with 120 ad isue from fryday top 20 million group get 1.6 USD

with 67 ad isue get 0.12  more than 10 time less

half add issue and more than 10 time less distribution, could an admin explain?

It should be reworked?

It's not precisely a rule of three. The way we send paid ads is manually calculated along with an excel sheet.

Despite the amount of money we have available for ad issue, lower groups have a fixed amount.

In the past, group 1 in PTCshare would get $0.011 daily per user with either a big or low ad issue. But this can't be true anymore or groups 1,2,3,4 would take up all the money basically.

All groups have been affected unfortunately. I'll keep evaluating if there's a better way we can redistribute the cash but it's already hard as every week we have a different ad pool amount
