Todays fast tracks have been sent!

MyTrafficValue is now accepting BitCoin:

I've paid a whole bunch of cashouts today, and that's a good sign of things to come. As the volume of money coming in and out of the system rises; that's going to make the cashier some serious revenues!

Compound Boxes is back online.

And todays mini PV ad issue numbers:

We're still working on the SSL thing. That'll take a bit of time.

Programming wise:
- Fixed a small issue with the monitor
- Ad issues are now fully functional again
- Three Towers issues should be resolved
- PV stats are working again
- We've increased the security on our cookies; so that if someone steals them off your computer, they shouldn't gain access to your account with us.
- And a few of other little bits, not really worth mentioning.

We also think we know what's behind the mini spells of server downtime we keep encountering every few hours. They only last 1-3minutes. But they're annoying... We'll find which cron is causing that today, and hopefully stop it from happening.

And overnight, we've bought a third server for the programmers. So they're setting that up today to act as our mailserver + dev testing server.

Anyway, fingers crossed in the next few days we might actually deploy something new for the portfolio - revenue wise. Instead of just maintaining stuff that we seem to be buried with at the moment.

The following should all be on their way real soon:

- Super User Ad Distribution Improvements
- Account Maintenance Fee ($0.0008)
- Fast Ads (Cheap Traffic - pure advertising option)
- User Account Histories
- Ad Swap Function For Users
- Bulk Pay for PM & Payza

Thereafter, we've got a bunch of tiny stuff to do. And then we'll tackle the Targeted Ads systems for PV. That'll be a big one... As it's basically the entire point of PV.

And then we can start thinking about new games, websites and businesses for the portfolio.

So for the moment, it's just dealing with our growth. Improving our existing products, and milking more and more revenues out of those. And then in a month or so, we should be in a position to think about something new!

That is shocking going from $24 down to $1.26 for the 720k to 1.5m BAP group for example. Massive ad issues are super cool but I think I would rather see a better average everyday.

It would be really cool to have a really big ad issue every Tuesday, and mini issues the rest of the week.  We could call it Super Tuesday ad issue.  During really big weeks, it would be Super Duper Tuesday ad issue.  Plus, if you're really lazy, you can buy a vacation mode every week and just turn it off before Tuesday then buy another vacation mode after you click your Tuesday ads.

It's actually an interesting idea, but what about the regular ad issue which is pretty awesome compare to the mini ad issue. There's a really huge gap between the mini issued ads and the regular ad issue. It's already been said that on Sundays there would be small ads issue.
What if on M/W/TH/F and Saturday regular ads and Big Ads Issue on Tuesday?

Really the days results shouldn't be just a random amount. I think in the long run it might be better to base issues on actual revenue for that day similar to how the fast track works.

I think Jo's been doing a great job with the ad issues. They're a bit differently handled pretty much every week and that helps keep things interesting for everyone. There has to be a mixture of everything - no ad issues, mini ad issues, big ad issues and mega ad issues.

People shouldn't know what to expect as this way they are more engaged with the site and keep checking stats, news and everything for hints of what might happen. And there's tons of traffic in that! Not to mention that having one huge ad issue/week and the rest small that this could affect the revenues. As I think that whenever people get a huge ad issue they are more inclined to withdraw it, compared to having several smaller issues, where they'll use their earnings instantly. Because it doesn't seem worth withdrawing they will just buy more ads with them, shares, invest or waste a few cents on our games.

Paidverts Super Tuesday could be super huge.  If enough people around the world start talking about Paidverts Super Tuesday, google would give the phrase more weight to us than they give to the American rigged political elections.

i read that our competitors "from clix team" have trouble with PayPal a second time after 3 months they froze their account completely and they only give their members 0.01x4 per day highest earning is 0.056 with all small ads, first time trouble was as PaidVerts an investigation and now totally closed.

PayPal message is "This measure is taking to protect us from potential losses because of risk exposure"

PayPal i hope you will soon understand why you're losing customers...
and hope they don't change minds on PaidVerts again

The idea of building up to a big issue is definitely good... But doing it every week might be tricky / prone to disappointment.

As to do the really big issues, we need our re-investments to mature. This one was enabled via infomodel pretty much. As his injection of cash; sold a lot of PV shares. And we also had a bunch of FT250 investments mature at the same time.

And I don't know if people will have the patience for small issues 6days a week... That may lead to negative press. Though, if its compensated by a Big Tuesday. Might work.

The idea of a Big Tuesday REALLY turns PaidVerts into a PTC 6days a week. And we're only "like an investment" 1day per week. So that's not a bad thing.

BUT... then there is the thing that people like consistency. They like getting paid every day; that's more important than profit itself it seems.

So... I don't know.
I think we'll just keep mixing it up for the moment, on a day by day basis. Mixing in tiny issues with slightly bigger ones. And then next time a bit of cash comes along; we'll store it for a few days / week or so again. Then build up to another big day.

But I quite like the small ones; they keep things in perspective. So if there are 1-2-3 small ones in a row; then a good one. You actually appreciate the good one a bit.... And it's a consistent "surprise", as you focus / fixate on the big ads you receive every once in a while; and somewhat forget the smaller ones in between.

I'm like Jo
I would rather have constant gains  that a large gain and  6 small the other days of the week

I find it better to have eg $3/4 per day that $ 20 one day and $ 1 the next 6 days

after the important thing is that it is BIG ads do not affect  the program,
if that harmed the good management of  program( regular purchase of members) , I'd rather not have big ads

the best is the enemy of the goodwink

i also think that constant gains is better,  than a large gain and  6 small gains the other days of the week. Its kinda bad for new PTC clickers.. if average ptc clicker register and he doesnt earn anything 2-4 days, he will probably leave PV and never came back.

Yes, rather than having smaller Ad issues for 6 days & going for a bang, I also think, much consistent regular ads issues during weekdays & a bit less during weekends as it was for the past month or so, is the best way to go at this. Too much inconsistency & less results from users point of view ,specially in PTC business would make user (even regular users) anxious & demotivated which will not be effective in the long run. Users who are trying to build something here & climb up the ladder will very much appreciate good daily results regularly for themselves  which in return help the business grow consistently as well.  And Jo if you can create some kind of a reserve (from daily earnings) which would aid in doing a big ads issue like once a fortnight or a month, that would be great. But too much irregularity will cause problems towards the growth of this business.

PV is fine as it is,send out big issues when the revenue is big and small ones when the revenue is small. That works fine imo,and people will read news everyday in order to know more.

Jo I've noticed something strange. I've bought several additional banner impressions for around 10 campaigns(they use the same banners) a few days ago and 3 of them had the 50k 728x90impressions finished within a day and received no clicks whatsoever. Now why I think this is a bug because all the other campaigns are all at around 15-18k views and have received 10-50 clicks on these same banners in the same time.

Also the 125x125 banner impressions on these 3 campaign received up to 5 times less clicks than the average of the other campaigns. The 125x125 worked normally though and were all completed in about same time frame so this could just be a coincidence.

But there seems to be something seriously wrong with how impressions for the 728x90 banners are counted as it seems sometimes they're just suddenly marked as completed and they've delivered nothing.

If it helps these are the 3 problematic campaigns:
BA-73789
BA-73793
BA-72292

I don't want any compensation, just wanted to let you know about this problem and see if it can be fixed.

From Paul:

"Banner counters are updated/synchronized with db every 5 min or so, that's why it may looks strange when you've got 0 impressions and then suddenly 10k"
