What I mean is, what server does to take so much time to distribute. I don't know if you read a post of mine yesterday talking about Just Been Paid (a succesfull scam) and the time taken to issue the matrix placements. It take days to everyone get it. And after that, when the user base grow, it take days to everyone receive the money the people should receive. Imagine, I should receive 20$ per day and it takes about 3 or 4 days to receive. Tomorrow I should receive the same thing and it takes 3 or 4 days again.  They have a lot of members and I'm seeing Paidverts growing like this. Imagine when we have 2x times more members. And I'm thinking this till next month or something like this. Do you see any solution for that? Could all of us do a brainstorm to help you? It's a big issue we have right now and I'm not kidding. This is an urgent thing and should be solved ASAP. Issuing ads to accounts will always be a scale issue. Jo and the programmers are way better then anything JBP had. If crons continue to hog server resources then more servers will be required or revamp the way ads are issued to the groups.  Anyways there is really nothing to worry about if it becomes a bigger issue it will get fixed. And the server is a bit weird like that, when there are 5000-10,000 ads in the queue, it issues them all in a minute or two. But when you stack up 50k or 100k or more. Then it starts issuing them in tiny blocks; as I think it consumes its "time-out" setting just counting the ads to issue, so only ends up sending a few. But this is not a big issue; we can easily scale this by re-writing the code for how they're issued. And i'm sure if it really gets huge; we could always take the site offline for 5minutes a day specifically to consume 100% of server resources issuing ads. But I doubt it'll come to that. Modern technology is too powerful for that. Yesterday, we had a problem with the cron... so I waited for the programmers to fix it before issuing the ads. Specifically to avoid stacking them up. But obviously that didn't end up working well.... So today, we again had an issue with the cron, but I just stacked them up; and the programmers can fix it thereafter. And that's better. Hopefully tomorrow it'll be back to normal. Anyway, 115k ads left in the queue; hour or two max. I wonder if the server resources will improve a whole bunch. As I just loaded the Portfolio without cache, and it took 95+ seconds to render. Crazy!
