Right... the server migration seems to finally be completed. That took a whole lot longer than it should have.

There'll be no ad issue today; no point now. But from tomorrow onwards, i'd like to be back to a solid routine with no further disruptions... And fingers crossed we can get the programmers back to actually building stuff; not wasting time on server issues.

PayPal update:
Our 30 day rolling reserve is now releasing funds pretty much continuously. So we're finally working our way through the pending cashouts. It should only take about a week to catch up I reckon.

And as the image shows, there's over $3k available in the account right now - so i'll start sending those cashouts out either right now (assuming everything is working), or tomorrow! If I just pay all the smallest ones; I think that $3k alone will clear about half of all pending cashouts. Then the biggest ones we'll wrap up in the coming days.



I think all Super Users have had 7days added to their active time. Let me know if not.

Anyway, pretty late here... so i'll call it a night soon. Fingers crossed the site is still working in the morning. And then i'll crack on with the support tickets!

It should all be working, just refresh... Though we did change our DNS settings just yesterday. So they may take a bit of time to propagate to the slower ISP's.

Anyway, i'll see where we're at in about 12hours. And then start getting everything back on track!

Even with a bit slow access & time to time 20 error, I'm so glad to be on board again. Much appreciated yours & your team's big efforts on this endeavor. Obstacles are indeed a part of growing business & all we want is to see this, GROWING BIG & BIGGER grin

And big users also would like to see our BAPs liquidated quickly now since we missed out on quite a few days with that lunatic's lame efforts which led us to be more stronger smile Plus would like to see big amounts being rolled from PP please.

Well done, Jo and your team for always staying on top of the issues. You guys are tough and I am sure with time, we will beat the odds.

@ Darknit, I agree with you, the error 20 code bug has kept us out of the play for some days now. And the fellow still seems to show his ugly face from time to time. Like you rightly pointed out, we will grow pass that grin bigger and stronger as we beat the odds.

It is frustrating, seeing this bug from time to time... You can use frustration to work for you positively (chill and relax, use the time to invest into something else while you patiently wait for the developers to handle the issue as Jo has posted on his FB newsfeed) or negatively (writing terrible comments on FB, expressing your bad manners online... think about it, those comments can come back and hurt your own reputation)!!! It is a shame many people do not read. I have always known that tough times do not last but tough people do. This is equally true in business too. We will beat the odds. 

@ Jo, I think it makes sense to hold-up the big ads release for today and give PV and MTV some serious testing period. Until we are sure we have things running in a very stable state, we can do the big ads release. A great product markets itself... let's focus on getting things in a very stable state. Business will get back to norm... it is only a matter of time smile. We will beat the odds.

I am glad the Paypal cashout is now rolling cheerful... even though I am not cashing out, I am happy because as rough as it has been in the recent past, we still managed to make leaps forward. Well done, MTV, let's get the cash rolling. Money passing around is always a good thing, it keeps the people in a good mood angel when we beat the odds.

Bien ... la migración del servidor parece que finalmente se complete. Eso tomó mucho más tiempo de lo que debería tener.

No habrá problema anuncio de hoy; No tiene sentido ahora. Pero a partir de mañana, me gustaría estar de vuelta a una rutina sólida sin más interrupciones ... Y crucé los dedos podemos obtener los programadores de nuevo a realidad la construcción de la materia; No perder el tiempo en los problemas del servidor.

PayPal actualización:

Because i lost a lot of Bap's while the site was down. I got only $4 worth of ads as my upgrade. Among them most of the ads got recycled because of the downtime of the Site. cwy

Brace yourselves, I don't think the attacker is finished yet. It's amazing how useless incapsula seems to be in terms of protecting us.

I think we'll have to find a new security company. This proxy stuff is utterly useless if the hacker just gets around it.

We're struggling to hire programmers full time, that physically build everything, that's incredibly valuable to this business.

So it's real tough to hire specific security experts off the shelf, at this stage of the business. There is just not that sort of money to go around.

But I understand at the same time, that without such a thing; then how can this business possibly grow if it's taken down every 5minutes, by every bad egg on the internet.

Difficult!

I'm asking the Iweb techs to scrutinize our incapsula settings today. Try and get that working / water tight.

I'm also trying to speak with Prolexic today... Let's see if we can afford what they have to offer. But the price will be ridiculous, $4-5k per month minimum. They're what big corporations use to guarantee against event the biggest bot-nets in the world. We don't require anywhere near that level of protection. We just need the most minimal level of protection possible; to act as a deterrant and stop one man bands from messing with us.... But that minimum level of protection must work! And incapsulas does not right now.

Jo, You have the attackers IP, Download a program to attack him so bad that his computer fries

I know that some bad program can destroy everything in his computer so he will sure learn how is boss

The only way is to punch back hard and quick, if we had a botnet we could be even stronger bringing him down, or if i was you i would give all details to the police because this people must be punished because if we are showing weak they will coming back and back

so do the right thing don't let him win this people must know that what they are doing is not legal and all threats is going to be prosecuted
