Today's fast tracks were sent.* Security Tip * Secure your account with 2 Factor Authentication: https://www.mytrafficvalue.com/member/account.html#profile We will reply to this thread throughout the day with any news and any other information! Click the "Show only administrator posts" button above this post, to see today's news notifications. That'll hide all the user comments and chit-chat. (You can press "Show All Posts" if you want to read through all that). ------------ Upcoming debt swap facts: 1. We will be swapping all BAP & FTQ investments for shares, at the rate $0.30/share, between the following dates: Apr 6th - 10th eg. For every $300 you are owed from the fast track queue, you will receive 1000 shares. eg2. For every 600 BAP you have, 1 share will be issued. 2. Your account balances will not be touched. That's your money, and can be cashed out at any time, or saved in your balance to be used after the swap. 3. When we initiate the swap, the BAP marketplace (ability to sell shares directly for BAP) will be suspended for 60 days. You can still sell shares for cash during that time. 4. When we initiate the swap, we will be limiting PV Bulk Ad Purchases to 1-5 ad packs per day, per user for 60days. ($1.05-$5.25/day maximum) 5. When we initiate the swap, we will be limiting 170/200/250 plan investments for 60days. $1-$10/day per user for 170 + 250 plans. And $1-$250/day per user for the 200 plan. * 250 Plan Upgraded users will have their upgrades extended by 60days, as a result of this limitation. * The 240% plan upgrades will be exempt from these limitations. 6. Up until the swap, Fast Track Payments will continue as normal and there will be daily ad issues from Monday to Friday only (cron permitting!), with a guaranteed minimum value of $10k per issue. ------ Today's ad issue will total $10,000 and will be sent later in the day as programmers are performing some updates again. Some of Payza cashouts yesterday were rejected due to an error on Payza's end and as such marked as "paid"/"ok" on our end but not actually sent to your Payza account. You DON'T need to create a ticket about it as we should be able to simply re-send them, which I suppose Jo will be able to do today or tomorrow. There was some config problems the past 10 or so hours which caused captcha problems - if you've lost a significant amount of BAP due to this feel free to create a support ticket with info on which ads you were unable to complete (from your baplog) and our support staff will refund you any BAP lost. Debt swap news & programming updates I've just spoken to Jo and we're setting the swap rate at $0.3/600 BAP, which will take ~38million shares from portfolio & paidverts account. The date of the swap is not set in stone yet either, but the programmers seem very confident everything will be ready, so April 6th is definitely a possibility. After writing a detailed list of potential post-swap issues that need to be looked into, the programmers seem confident that all of that is already taken care of, or will be in the following days. Specifically only some potential issues with banner uploads/display need to be looked into along with moving all type of ads to the new distribution "cron". Once that is all done there should for example be no problems in the system handling a huge amount of ad packs purchased daily (and the ton of instant ads the create), nor issues with purchases from payment processor purchases grinding the system to a hault (that was already fixed in January, now with all the changes it should be even more sturdy). Despite all of the above we want to play it safe on one end - that is waiting a few days before we deploy the lowered ad timer duration on new ad purchases, to make sure the new rabbit queue handles everything fine (ad viewing will be moved to this as well), and that there's no chance of increased ad views (due to lowered timers) causing an impact on site performance. Kryztof and David are working on setting up scalable and long-term solutions and will be migrating our database to EC2, likely around 8th/9th April. This will also allow us to have Live, Stage, Production and Development environments which we've really been lacking so far, and with it we'll be able to test new code on a live copy before deploying it live. This will result in less bugs, errors and potential maintenance time. Kamil has also pushed a new offerwall live - SuperRewards, which seems to have offers for a lot of countries the other two don't, which is great. Also it has CrowdFlower tasks integrated which is another plus. And we'll keep adding more offer websites in the following weeks to maximize the use of our traffic value and potential revenues. There's also been an issue with targeted daily ad issues considering filter as > instead of >= , which has now been fixed. Some programming company has also finished programming another simple game - Rock Paper Scissors - based on Rayner's graphics (props to that guy, he outdid himself again, just CSS+simple pictures yet it looks amazing). So far looking good but we have to check if code is acceptable, which we'll do ASAP, but it might be after swap as there's tons of other things to take care of first. PayPal has finally unlocked our ability to withdraw funds from them, which is waiting for Carlos to finish sorting out the new Mauritius account. Apparently that needs just some test transfers before it's ready to use. And PayPal story isn't over yet - we might be able to get back to using them fully, which might require registering PaidVerts as a separate business. If actually possible that'll take some time, but just to put it out there that they haven't ruled out continuing doing business with us completely just yet. Credit card purchases on PaidVerts are still waiting on some SSL-related update first, so shouldn't be long either before that is all set to use. *April fools

@AnaUhan, yes I'm aware of that and just added it to the news. There was a small mistake in the new cron which considered filter as > instead of >= so you wouldn't receive ads equal in size to the filter set.

@robthornty I think the part about 600 BAP is actually true, and that great news, all what Slosumo said is true. Exept if the post where he said it's true is the actual April fool, but I don't think .
