In that case then I rather go somewhere els to do targeted ads. The users do not "play games" with TA in hope to get them removed... I guess mtv needs to make targeted ads more attractive. Include BAPS for TA buyers....

As a consciouses member, I try my best to be earning my money, and aware of the ads. However, 3 lines is often not telling me anything, even in TA. However, I was Targeted (even if I = 1000s), so I should check out what is offered with an open eye. However, I have zero obligation to convert.I'm not playing games. I'm trying to be kind to the TA advertiser who bought multiple clicks possible for a user, who after the first click wasn't interested, but still was given TA's when clicking more BA's. But, yes, TA's for the laymen, appear to be just another Paid Ad, they don't even know it's a TA, and treat it just like anything else. And, if they get multiple, so what. That said, when you buy TA banners/texts, if they only cost you a hit, if they are clicked on, they should have a high conversion rate, b/c we don't get paid for that action. So, if what you offer is indeed something we want, then conversion can happen.

What's with this insistence on BAP in return?TA's give you a target audience out of the big crowd. BA's will give you random users, thus to reach everyone in your target, will cost more, most likely, on avg. FA's will get you most everyone that clicks anything that day. Not everyone, mind you, but on that specific day, all but a few thousand who click anything, will click all 8 AA's. AG background banner/text shows to everyone who clicks the AG, but only counts as a click if someone is interested. So, not targeted, but still, a higher conversion rate is probable. FA/AG buyers aren't asking for BAP in return. They know how good they got it price vs reach, even if they are casting too wide a net for their campaign. I believe, that TA pricing is competitive w/o needing to add to our BAP debt. If you don't think so, maybe you can chat with Andraz or InfoModel, esp if you can be a big buyer or bring in other big buyers. They did say they are not done with TA's. That said, TA is a better option most likely when the active membership base is bigger.

I understand Druth8x... if I had to compare with adhitz or other competitive sites, I would be better off on those sites they can reach different random sites according to geography option. TA bought from paidverts ONLY cater to paidvert site ... am I correct ? that alone should win the argument so there is no need to debate

Gizmo,For the time being yes. Though, we will eventually expand to get TA as an option to all sites, like Google AdSense or some such. We want to compete in the future externally as well. Poyhugo, That is b/c PV has a 24hr cashout and MTV has a 14 day window. Though, I thought didn't matter as they can detect what portion is 24hr vs 14 day eligible. Also, whenever we become legal, we might have to separate the 2 more completely. Whatever the case, you can't cashout PV or MTV balance, only via an actual processor, so in the end it doesn't really matter, excpet for fractions of 1 RP not being able to be bought, and kept as a free RP. You can always combine balances via BitCoin balance or another of your choice and then buy your RP or BA or anything else, from there. As it's not from the external to FBG, the no buying RP with Payza type restrictions should matter. I could be wrong though.

Gizmo I think you better wait for some clarification from slosumo. And even you should give it a try with a small campaign.Elsewhere you wont have any explications about hot the TA works. You'll just buy it. Target ads are bought everyday and there are some big campaigns there. Its for sure much better than BA as it doesn't force you to view. Its chosen. I remember that spec from slosumo's topic.

What about making some promotions for TA packs? They are not too expensive, but there are many better options to advertise most of the sites. And people should know they are clicking a TA, they would pay more attention if they know it's specific to them. Most of my daily ads are about hyips, revshares that will be down in 2 or 3 months, or a thousand ads of Neobux and Clixsense, that most people don't have interest in (most bought by BA, "free advertising"  .
