Uploading here is the better method from the programming perspective. If you link to the other sites you then become dependent on them and the speed of their servers. Also, if they are down it can freeze your pages from loading thus slowing down our website. When the banners are served locally, they are entirely dependent on our server alone. Also, from a security perspective, someone can link to a banner on their site and then change to something completely different. They can't do that here without support helping them Marc, I hope the person you plan to turn the site over to will go through a criminal background check. That should be the bare minimum.
