Not at all true. With ALL multi player games, house only takes a cut of the pie, or variant there of. For competition winnings, that is taken from a cut of the pies, or variant there of as well. So, yes, how much you win monthly or whatever does matter how much members played, it has nothing to do with house edge or even house fee. If it was set up as 3%, then that's how much, no matter how many play, nor how much is bet. That said, some games do have strategies to get a better chances at results.
