Sad to read that, but I expected it. The "pessimist route" was based on $3k of development funds daily. It would need at least 3000 BA sales (+results ~1000 or more).

@Mio2815: Normally I would say: "Absolutely not".
But I have been the one hyping up the crowd so much about the existence of dividends that people will most likely just give up on us if I revert that.
Most likely i'll pay dividends just this one time as it's quite hard to net $25.000,- in monthly profits at our current state.

And I hope that people will realize that dividends really do not amount to much at this point in time and give us the space we need to make it a much better deal for them in the future.

Reads like we are going to have very few office hours avl to us, so whatever we have better be towards very worthwhile projects. Right?

As long as BAP market is open, PV ad purchases will be limited.
With games eliminating huge amounts of BAP debt (usually), is the % of BAP  reduced from BAP market worth what it costs in ad non-purchases?

Someone will have to come up with a plan for the future. This is not working. Could we do some budgetting? Expected money flows for september-december and then evaluate at the end of september? That's something that a lot of businesses do in every sector.

We are again getting less investments and thus less development funds. We should be able to get money somewhere...

Howmany programmers can we keep fulltime with the expected moneyflow for september for example?
I think we should stop working on small improvements everywhere that don't bring in money. They are necessary but right now every working hour should go to projects that generate new cashflows... we really need them.

I think it's still worth a try to give more advertising for the ad packs and send out more at 0.0005 to cover that. Have a special promotion to get 4x as much website visitors for 1$ afpack

Well if the marketing campaigns will do what they are supposed to do then things will improve a lot.

I wonder what happened to the legalisation plans? Is this still in view or do we need to wait until the external products pick up even more?

bpc1234: Remove the BAP market and you remove a big amount of people who will play games.
With no option to immediately cash in the prizes that you've just won it becomes far less attractive.
Even now you're gonna have to settle for giving up a big part of your prize if you want the "direct way out".

It has been a topic that we've discussed many, many times and even more in the background, but the outcome of the discussion has been the same every time.

@Gugakip: We're constantly keeping an eye on everything and work towards targets, let's not talk doom scenario's here as you know what negativity leads to.
We've proven to be able to run this business appropriately, we update you almost on a real-time basis and our current focus has been made clear.

We currently focus on legalizing the business and presenting our external products to a wider audience.
Both of these things are very important as of now as we removed the fast track queue and we've got no direct method of gaining capital anymore, so we'll have to focus on selling our products to get the required income.

A lot of the dividends will be recouped by daily taxes or spent on buying RP's.
Only those with a fair amount of RP's will get to a number that you can actually cash out.
I hope it makes people realize that we all have to work together to pay far better dividends coupled with an improved royalty position-price in the future.

+1 for bap market removed.
Not much debt remove with 5% fees,  and if we will close it,  we could gain atleast another 1000/1500 ad packs/day.
By the way, dividends will be 0.01$/1000rp right?

Why don't we do a test?! Just close the market for a week, and we'll see what happens!

IMHO, there must be a way for someone to turn his BAPs into money any time he wants to.
That is happening now with the RP/BAP market.
Also having two markets moving (rp and RP/BAP) creates an arbitrage, for people to take advantage of, so it keeps the markets alive creating volatility.

If RP/BAP market closes, there must be some other way for people to immediately turn BAPs to money (even with a loss).
A BAP/cash market could do that.

Just my opinion (though i may be wrong as usual).

We dont know this 4 sure.
Bills cost actual $. BAP has no time table to pay back.It can slow down.
$ in hand  should be a priority over debt reduction without hesitation.

Lets close it for a month.
What you makeup in actual $ (ad pack purchases) will make up for the loss in  debt BAP reduction.
(In theory. We dont know without trying)

I'll discuss a closure of a week with the team, will get back to you about the outcome.
I have to say that the market offers A LOT more BAP if you sell RP's now, so everyone who knows the system won't directly buy ad packs anymore.

If we do decide to try it for a week and the gaming stats drop considerably while the ad pack purchases remain the same we would obviously call it a "failed experiment".

--

Something suddenly pops to mind..
What if we would indeed close it but open the market up for about 3 days per month.. It would create a direct method of exchanging your BAP but it would "force" people to keep their levels by buying ad packs with cash throughout the rest of the month.. (Or they would buffer up, but the market volatility would be insane during those days)
