Just a thought about this business model:

I noticed that while $0.30 are already converted to ads, only $0.20 comes back to the buyer because $0.10 goes to super upgraded users.

This means even after the $1.25 return from MTV, the value that came back to the buyer is only $1.45 and PV still owes him $0.10.

I know maybe this can be cancelled by other debt removal systems in place, but I just want to put that out in the open.

It doesn't matter who receives the ads that are sent to super user upgrades. All that matters is that for every 3100 BAP that is created for every 1$ ad purchase, that 1.55$ worth of ads are sent out - doesn't matter to who. Ads for super user upgrades consume BAP just the same.

Saying that the 0.3$ is used directly for ads is just simplifying things of the whole system. Money isn't explicitly used to pay THAT one user back. All of the money pays everyone if you were exact.

Yea, that's much more like it! There's some good ideas for presenting info there.

The first image i'd flip the right side, to put the big circles & big values up top, and small at the bottom. That's more logical.

And the flow diagram is pretty good; few tweaks to that / change a few words and I think that'll work -- for any technical minded people out there anyway... Maybe add in a few colours to differentiate the lines.

If anyone else wants to have a play, feel free. Otherwise i'll send Slosumos images to Rayner in the next day or so; along with some notes. And see what he makes of them (ie. prettify them!)

I know what you mean that it simplifies things just to say that $0.30 is used for ads.

But on the buyer side, the promise is that when I purchase $1 bulk ad, I (and not other users) will receive $1.55 in PTC ads ASAP.

I think this model is meant to point out how my $1 will come back to "me" (and not anybody else) as $1.55.

So it matters who receive the ads.

So far, this only explains how $1.45 will come back to "me". But as I've said, there are other debt removal system in place.

@Jo You're right, changing the order top -> bottom is definitely more logical & adds additional emphasis on how important growing their BAP is. I might have another look at the images later and see if I get any other ideas to improve them.

@richiem I see what you mean but in reality it doesn't make a difference. If the user gets 1.45$ "directly" then he will simply get the remaining 0.1$ from money that remained from users who bought the super upgrades and received your share of 0.1$ -> which means that their extra 0.1$ share can be used to pay your remaining 0.1$ debt.

So to eliminate any doubts about this the wording should be changed in the diagram, like so:

1.) Change "Every 1$ ad pack purchased gives users 3100 BAP(1.55$ of earning potential)" to "Every 1$ ad pack purchased creates 3100 BAP(1.55$ of earning potential)"
2.) Change "$1.55 worth of ads sent to user" to "$1.55 worth of ads sent to users"
3.) The "ad issued to user" under Instant debt removal can remain the same as it doesn't add double meaning

And the model is made to point out how any 1$ ad pack pays back 1.55$, not to a specific user(the one who purchased). Plus I don't think anyone just joining PV would really notice the difference.
