I know there are/were plans to build a site for the gambling part of MTV. But licenses for all of Europe are expensive. On the other hand a couple of days a go there was stated that MTV could take over some company's in the future. Now I was thinking isn't it an idea for MTV to buy a licensed casino site in just one member state. I know it's not for the whole Union then but it's a starting position. Maybe it would be a little bit more expensive but you know the license is there, you can verify. When MTV has to build it from the ground it could also take a lot of programming time, money and just time to even get a license. And even then there are no warranties that a license could be obtained. Now I was scrolling through a (Belgian/Dutch)site, where company's are for sale and saw that there was a licensed casino site for sale. So buying one is not fiction, there are such sites for sale on the market. IMO this could help MTV to skip a lot of work themselfes.

Buying an established casino w/ licenses could actually be a great strategy... We get not only the license(s) needed, but it could provide new/improved games for MTV.

It is harder to advertise Gambling websites on the internet. We need to stick to making the traffic value great on MTV and PV and keep the suggestions coming guys.

Licenses are renewed yearly. And you'd have to look into the software used by the casino. It's also likely licensed from the likes of micro gaming. Id prefer to build and own all our own stuff. And any casino listed for sale likely isn't doing so well. Likely better off building our own.

Yeah it is best to keep everything entirely in house and custom.Speaking of gambling it is crazy how much easier it is to gamble with BAP compared to real cash. There is just something about playing with the BAP. Even though it is still potential cash playing games with it comes so much easier... PaidVerts is going to be so amazingly sustainable in the future. Just because of the mentality of playing with BAP vs playing with real cash.

Conforming to each government? Is seeming kind of ridiculous. (Just for fun / money) I should create my own government and impose a fee / tax on a company outside my territory which is in a location I do not control. Is this really what I am seeing or am I misunderstanding? Prime metaphor. ( same concept) The moon enforces a licence fee to the people of earth for using their reflected light. The Belgian enforces a licence fee to allow MTV to conduct business in Belize. Did I miss some information somewhere?

If you want a country's citzens to gamble at your casino, you have to be licensed by that country.Just the way it works.

why not buy our own dessert island and have our own empire/government...i can see the palace i don't either believe buying licenses in every country and every state will work, internet gambling should have been legal from start and have a fee that works over the borders, this is just ridiculous they should know that it mean more jobs i can understand that goverment want to hindering people gambling all the money away, should have other way of doing that instead like have maxbetting, but the real reason is taxes they care less off the people...

Yea, the BAP games are working incredibly well. I can't wait for the programmers to add the BAP stats to our daily result cards.I guess it works the same as "casino chips" ... even though they can be swapped for real money. They seem designed to be played with, and valueless beyond enabling gameplay. --- And yea online licensing sucks. Fixed fee licensing for the internet makes life very difficult - as you need to conquer the entire world overnight in order to justify buying licenses everywhere... And it's also detrimental to the user experience - especially with MultiPlayer. As some countries only let you play against other citizens in that same country (presumably to stop money transfer out of the country)... And that limits your potential playing pool massively. They should just instead use transparent accounting; mark where every user is from, and charge a gambling tax. 0.0001% of every bet placed or so. Then the casinos collect that and send it off. Win/Lose doesn't matter. But keep it small enough not to kill the casinos. And everyone's happy. Same with sales tax and what not; log each purchase, where it comes from; the applicable tax rate. Collect & pay. Easy peasy. No need to complicate things any further than that. Anyway... One step at a time!
