How is it that patjohn can jump to first place andmy bid for 10000 RP wasn't completed 100%?
Maybe I'm missing something here. Can someone explain this? Thanks.

If I can see it right, he used bulk buy option to buy up more RPs @10 than it was necessary for his bid to come to the first place (it happened an hour ago). That's why his bid stayed untouched and some of the bids after his disappeared (he bought them although they were not first in line, since he can't buy his own RPs). Maybe that caused this strange error.

But why did he buy at 10 instead of cancelling his sale bid at 10, from which he will lose 5% through charges?

Gamblers tend to do this. They often sell for 9 and rebuy for 10 when they win something and this user is one of them.

Thanks il051. You're always around to assist when people have questions. Still not sure if what happened was normal though.

SuperSaverBEWell, if his bid was there before yours, then everything should be fine, because he skipped his own bid and bought a piece of yours. If his bid was after yours and your bid is not cleared, then it's obviously some glitch. But why would your bid suddenly show up after his bid? Are you sure that your unfinished bid was there before his bid?

If I remember well, his bid was there. Supersaver's bid was a few bids behind it. Like il051 explained, he bought those bids in between. I know gamblers tend to sell and rebuy even at a higher rate with their winnings, but what he did was unusual. He bought at 10 while his bid was being sold at 9.5, which is difficult to understand. He is too experienced at bap market not to know about bid-cancelling facility.

Well, just watch what our user sho.... is doing daily on both cash and RP market. It's not logical to assume that people will behave logically.

Yes, he is a bit strange, but not as illogical as this one. I think what happened here is a mis-typing while filling bulk buy form, 10 instead of 9.@ GeamerPaid As the dividend is out of sight at least for a while, you cannot earn any thing from rps unless you engage in some kind of trading with your rps. But the rps will be good as a long term investment.
