Barter My Funds
CoinFlip Evolved
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We will be adding an easier method for people to see how much funds we have in our BarterMyFunds-wallets.
Pick the currency/processor you would like to exchange for and you can see how big our reserve is.

We didn't do this before due to safety reasons but with proper management we are sure this adds value to the website. (There are no websites that can't be hacked)

--

Very soon we will be adding Litecoin to PlayBitcoinGames.
We're currently discussing the specifics and once we decided upon those we'll start the implementation.
It should take about 2 days of programming.

--

The MyMatrix-design was finished.
We have a logo, we have the front and registering page so we sorted out everything from our end. (Including terms of agreement)
Now we are waiting for a final ETA from Brian so we can announce a launch date!
We will keep you posted.

--

We have been testing the new upcoming freemium game during the past days.
We found quite a lot of bugs which need to be dealt with, nothing that will severely delay the launch though.
Due to sickness of the slovenian programmer we won't be able to launch this week but our goal is to launch early next week.
To be continued.

Polish office update:

Day by day the Sumo-Roll game turns more into a full-fledged product.
During the last week we were able to finish the Application-Backend implementation which was crucial from a security point of view.
All in-game validations will be handled by the Backend, this provides us reliable traffic and will reduce number of abuses.
Moreover we added the handling of monetization system of this product - Unity Ads.
As expected, implementation wasn't really complicated but proper handling in-game setup required some time. Same as during the previous weeks some minor improvements, mostly visual, were added.
Below are the actual changes which were made during the last week:

- added authenticate player after app start,
- added game over popup,
- added after game over handling,
- added handling player withdrawal address (adding/changing),
- added backend communication on Claim Reward screen,
- added before game over popup,
- added generic error popup handling,
- game adaptation to handle player sync functionality,
- finished Unity Ads handling,
- added Countdown handler

Furthermore the Sumo Roll Game-server was equipped in a few new methods and improvements of existing ones, to cover as best as possible most of the features in the client application. In a special way we have focused on business logic referring to limits of amount of games per player.

We have also finished attaching front-end part of Barter My Funds widgets. We find them as a very handy tool to popularize website and promote your referral links.

At the beginning of the previous week we fixed and launched the PlayPerfectMoneyGames Deposit Bonuses, so for now our users can make deposits and get up to 100% bonus money to play games. We also implemented and tested this feature on the PlayBitcoinGames platform, which was just recently pushed live as well.

The big part of the last week was used to develop, test and launch the "mobile monetization-control panel" for our administrative staff.
They can now control major banner and interstitial ads settings separately for each mobile platform we support.

Could someone from Polish office explain what this sentence should mean:
In a special way we have focused on business logic referring to limits of amount of games per player.
If I got it right, you want to place a limit on how many times each player is allowed to play this game?

I'm definitely not a Polish staff, but I'm not sure if you're going to get a response from them either.. Vecors has been updating though and he states sometimes about: "chances"

So yes, Sumo Roll will have a limit amount of "chances" you play. My best guess is that after certain time, you will get your lives filled up to play again

Due to the size and complexity of the secret game, maybe you should open it to wider beta release for further bug testing before you do a full launch?

there`s about 10-20 people testing the new secret game. We believe we found prety much all bugs and those are reported. They are being fixed, it`s just a matter of time now. Can`t wait for it to be launched grin

I think you should test in the hundreds. I'm sure you can find that many people on our boards

200 people can put 200 man hours into testing in one hour in one day. It would take 20 people ten hours each to do that

Even now CFE is dealing with bugs and design improvements. Letting the crowd have a larger beta test will only benefit IMO

I`m sure that once we launch, we`ll be asking people to report on a specific topic all the bugs they find. Right now, and since it`s a big project, the test crowd needs to be more "controlled". The biggest test will be performed once we launch because I`m sure some people will find bugs.

Right now, it`s important to clear the most obvious ones so the game con be launched publicly and running as smoothly as possible wink

There is no point in giving the game out for testing to hundreds, when we are currently working on some crucial bugs/improvements that until sorted in a way prevent further, more refined testing.

Furthermore, such a huge test crowd could be open to leaks and ruin the chance for a big "controlled" launch.

A few 10 people is more than enough for testing of this game, anything more would be excessive and just result in "spam reports" of the same obvious bugs and issues. The rest will best show after launch and additional improvements/optimizations will have to be done on the go either way, looking at how people react after 1,2,3,5,7,14... days of playing.

Let me just preface this by saying this is just intended to get the best from the team and maximize efficiency:

You know I was previously with an app building site and what they did was have a dedicated group of people for their beta test team that they would email when new testing was needed. This gave them a controlled group which is something you said you want but also gave them a large group to handle the beta test with the experience to look for bugs.

I know you are reviewing and fixing first bugs but once those are cleared up that would be a great time to open the software to a larger test group (but maybe not for this build since it is too late to prepare them). I think a two stage beta test would be great

So you have 20 people or so but are these the members of the company? The reason I'm asking is because I think those guys should keep to more important tasks since they have the higher skills. Plus you have the mods testing but don't they have other tasks? This seems to be a waste of their brain power when you have a vast pool of volunteers to which you can delegate those tasks. This is brain power being wasted when we still have limited resources. Same goes with anyone else who has a job or task with the company. They can't do two things at once and the more testing they do the more potential bugs they will miss with fatigue setting into their work if they are doing too much work.

My last point that is you want to test it enough to make sure there won't be any catastrophic failures on launch day. A poor launch with a crash can also kill the game's momentum as much as a late or no launch. So you always want to find the balance between getting the good testing and the risk of info escaping. I'll let you guys decide which is more important

Anyway, I hope that gives food for thought smile

Games are just being tested by moderators and a few of their close friends, who have plenty of time to spend to do so.

There are indeed some good investments on FTQ for sale. Results are picking up (just look at today so far).

With the launch of the upcoming products, we can only expect them to go up. This happening, FTQ will surely start being paid soon.

Repaying FTQ is a great step, not only towards cleaning debt but also boosting members confidence.
