A storm that has been based on reasons that are still pretty unclear to me as of now. My Traffic Value has really shown that it has figured out a core that allows it to run profitably upon which it can further build and tweak as the markets shift and which will only get bigger if it gets the time it needs to further develop itself. My Traffic Value has a qualitative, dedicated team, who are not here for monetary reasons as their primary reason, but as they believe and want to contribute to the long term goals it has planned out. Some of our employees are far more skilled than one would imagine, but due to their wish to remain anonymous (at least for now) that's something that I can't back up with detailed information. (But as i've never lied before, you can be very certain that our staff has very impressive backgrounds/skills) In the end the discussions which started off very negatively turned into something great, something that's all that I was wishing for. The crowd came up with ideas, the crowd gave input, spent time to work together.. That's all that we're asking for! If every member of MTV would spend 30 minutes per week to either promote us, come up with a nice banner, an idea or talk to a stranger in a cafe about paidverts.. You know how much value that would create? Most of us spend more time thinking about what to eat and wear the next day and we don't generate any value with such activities. My Traffic Value is a very special platform and it can turn into something far bigger when we work collectively, as a team. I really liked a post that I saw today in which the user told the public to put themselves in the shoes of the management and think about the daily stress we're already experiencing by bills, deadlines, new projects, legality and such. And to get people to work together as it would profit everyone and make our work more enjoyable. We can amount to a lot and this company allows you to profit by helping out. We ask you to step up and show that you want to actively contribute to a better future for all of us, thank you. -- We're not yet gonna do the experiment with the closure of the bap market. I haven't talked to Andraz about it yet (He just came back from his last short trip, now everything is back to normal) but I will tomorrow. However, the BAP games have really increased in daily volume in the past few days. From a stable 50-70 million BAP volume/day it has gone to a much bigger volume, which ultimately translates in a bigger debt removal due to the house edge. 3 days ago our volume was 178 million and yesterday it made an amazing 304 million in volume with 10 million BAP in debt removal! I'll have a look at our games at least until monday. And if they keep up this pace and Paidverts indeed works as planned (As we predicted this would happen) then we'll keep the experiment with the BAP market as a very good back up plan for later. On top of that we're also willing to revert the 14 day "no bap tax"-rule (or just for group 3 and up) if Paidverts needs it to be self-sustainable while generating enough development funds for us to continue our day to day business. Those are 2 good back up ideas in case our games do not perform as we expected, sounds like a luxurious position to be in. Let me show you a graph of the debt removal our games caused in the past week: -- I spotted an user today that joined us a month ago, this user went from $1300 in deposits to a $2000 account value.. While having cashed out over $2000 already as well!! A part of this users earnings were through games, a part through trading and paidverts.. But it's yet another proof that you can still make some very good money on our platform and it also proves that our games are fair! -- I got an email from Carlos regarding the legality, with quite some interesting details. I haven't discussed it with Andraz yet as my translator was vacant for a few days and Andraz was as well as i've explained earlier. Tomorrow we're discussing this letter and i'll give our full feedback to Carlos so we can continue working on the next steps. It looks very solid as of now and I can't stress enough how lucky those with a lot of Royalty Positions will be when we set all of this in motion. It allows MUCH more freedom, it allows you to talk about pretty much anything.. Sports, art, passions, other programs that you earn in.. It offers a personal message option, it offers badges, a profile picture, an option to add a signature to your account which will show up in every post that you make.. If it gets released today, then it probably won't have the 2 side banners that we're putting on the forum. Which will be 1 banner on each side with size 160x600 (I know a few people really enjoyed those on Paidverts ) These banners will be auctioned. Bidding starts at $10/day and the next offer has to be at least 10% higher than the one before. If the spots do not get filled up they will portray PPMG, BMF and PBG banners. If it indeed goes live today it won't have forum rules added to it either, which will be added in any of the next few days. But the rules are quite similar to the ones you're used to in here. Try to remain on topic as much as possible or open another topic if you want to discuss something else. To prevent a big amount of spam that is impossible for our moderators to manage we only allow those with a Paidverts membership to open topics. Here's the exact specification that I wrote and has been built: Forum - 0/day (Admin only) Members - 2/day Community support - 3/day Member promoted online sites & programs - 1/day Non-PV related - 5/day Forum (non english topics) 1/day Exclude: "Introduce yourself" should have 1 topic only in which everyone can chip in/reply. "Payment proofs" should have 1 topic only in which everyone can chip in/reply. "Your statistics" should have 1 topic only in which everyone can chip in/reply. Limit the amount of personal messages for free members to 3/day. The amount of personal messages for actively upgraded members remains unlimited. If an user gets reported 3x in a single day for the personal messages that he sent, disable his ability to send personal messages for a week. No matter if he/she's upgraded or not. This offers another method for the forum to earn money. If you wish to open a topic in the "Member promoted online sites & programs"-list, you will need a membership upgrade. This means that who ever wishes to be one of the first to get referrals from our huge crowd will be able to tell our users about their opportunity for just $5! Personal messages are not offered for you to spam everyone with referral links to other programs. You are allowed to share your details with one another and expand your network, but limit your spam as much as possible. If other users think you're spamming them and they report you for it and it happens 3x in 1 day, you will be unable to use personal messages for a week. -- Tomorrow we will also finish our specifications for the BMF profit tool, which will accurately track the profits we're making. After that we're gonna discuss and specify widgets. -- Polish office update: The last week was filled with the new forum works - the forum has been extended by add two new forum extension. They provide: - forum categories settings that allow checking max. new topic per user/day/week and month, - feature that ban reported users from private message sending for a week, - redis capability for handling all new features and forum cache. We changed the visual elements of the forum's style: - we added modal for guest that want do some action needs to be logged, - we added "View PaidVerts Profile" in user profile and post view, - we added favicon. We also fixed display issues in PaidVerts mobile app and published new mobile app update. We spent last week on finishing implementation of the most extensive Report's Tool report - how current user profiles met expectations of campaign buyers. Also a lot of our effort was focused on memory optimization which is crucial in bid data processing. List of tasks was as follows: - NodeJS worker adjustment which allows us control of resource usage, - implement Profile Usability report as explained above, - changed version of EMR cluster to the newest (5.0.0, which was released ~2/3 weeks ago), because it provides Spark in version 2.0.0, which is more efficient and allows better application monitoring, - we had to make some adjustments in Java worker due to Spark version switch (interfaces mismatch), - on this new version we had successfully imported over 950 files which was 4GB of data (7 000 000 of rows), - we prepared all variants of reports which will be tested in the following week. But we have the option to create message posting filters/blocks as we wish, limit it to only specific groups/members, etc. In fact, ANYONE can set their own personal filters/block settings for personal messaging.
