I handled certain things in the background I had to handle before announcing to be the new CEO. But right now i'm ready to also face my public function. I'll try my best to be a great face of the company and to spread positive signals about mtv again! The first step i'm gonna be making today is adjust my facebook so it will only show business-related posts when people visit my profile from now on. (As I expect atleast a few 100.000 hits on my facebook-profile after this post) Also i'm gonna be deleting 100s of people from my friendslist, those that I do not describe as "real friends" but simply added me because of the mtv-connection. Nothing personal, it's simply something that needs to be done to keep a good business-image. What's the best option for you to keep updated? Please use the forum/support for your much needed questions. I like to introduce myself for those that do not know me: My name is Marc, i'm 23 years old and (as earlier mentioned) i'm your new CEO. My hobby's are bodybuilding,soccer,travelling,going out,expanding my knowledge,work (Funny, but true ) I've been with mtv for 3 years now, I was one of the very first to invest in this start-up. Originally i'm a start-up investor, I search for projects like this and invest in the early stages hoping to exponentially grow the company(And my capital). One of the nicest things about investing (for me) is that it gets you places, you meet all kinds of people and you get to see the world. Earlier this year I bought 50% of an event/artist agency. I organized 2 very nice parties and enjoyed it a lot! (For the ones listening to hardstyle, Brennan Heart was 1 of the dj's at my party) I was gonna open up my own events-agency later this year, allthough I'm not too sure if I actually will now that i've got this position at MTV.. I like MTV a lot and i've been working very hard for 3 years to grow the business, help as many people as possible, market the website, come up with development idea's etc. Now i've decided to take the steering wheel of this wonderfull organisation and to improve it where ever I can! Things i'm gonna be working on: -Legalizing MyTrafficValue -Restructuring (and adding to) the current workforce -Adding a LOT of products to the portfolio -Creditcards for Paidverts -Adjusting certain aspects of the website that seem to be impossible to legalize -Meeting the entire staff in person and assure you guys MTV has actual programming offices (Which are expanding rapidly as well..) -Creating a positive image of MTV in the market again -Every day discussions/labour/oversight controlling this business First thing I'm officially doing as a CEO is rewarding the workers everyone seems to forget about.. the forum mods. An incentive to the ACTIVE forum mods out there. To show that you're one of those active mods, simply leave your account-name in whatever post you edit. Also I will join the moderating skype-chat in which I will give you an update of the certain rules we're gonna apply on the forum (As i'll be changing those for the professional look of mtv) The incentive for active forum mods will be 1000 shares/month. (Out of the portfolio-account) This might seem small at first(At the current shareprice of $0.01 it's just $10) but as we all work hard to improve mtv, the value of your shares will improve also. And right now you're doing it for free, so it's at least something. I hope this will result in more then just 2-3 active forum-mods. Regarding Jo: We've banned Jo from his account, completely removing his access to it. We've had multiple reasons to do so, as he has been causing MTV a lot of harm the past year.. On the forum, the sharemarket and the lack of actual progress/new idea's. Also the past few days it seemed like Jo was intentionally trying to destroy the image of mtv and all of your trust in it.. Anyway.. I'll be updating all of you when I make progress on sketching out the idea's I got in mind for the future progress of mtv. I like to ask all of you to be patient though, as Jo caused us a lot of damage.. I won't be working miracles overnight. Let's all work together for a brighter future of MTV, today is a new start!
