Suggestion keep either $1 or 14K BAP, as a reserve/cushion. Though, if an Ad Issue (of any type) brings you at 12,000 even, you can still use the market, for even 1 RP worth of BAP. Somehow, the programmers will be able to cancel any RP for BAP bids made by those with less than 12,000 BAP at that time. AKA the same script that would tell you you can't use it, will also kick out anyone active on it. If you drop under, you need to either buy a BA (or more), click enough AA ads, overall win BAP at the Ad Grid, &/or have your upline PIF enough BAP. Marc only said buying BA would get you back, but I don't see them coding that into the detection. This mainly hurts those who are in Group 1 at the low end aka 1600-~3600BAP. This is b/c, if you drop to 1599 or less, you can't use the Marketplace, aka no longer daily Marketplace buys to maintain BAP lvl. ~3600-11,999 are also affected, but they just will need to wait until they collect $1, and then they can still be above 1600 BAP. They still won't be able to access the Marketplace, until they get to 12,000 BAP, but at least they won't drop and not be able to get back above b4 the next ad issue. Group 0 aka 100-1599 is also being fully created and will get $100-$200 of the $400-$500 that was being given out due to the MAP by all that were requested. Group 1 currently get $177/$1000 and ~9300 members (aka ~2c), where as Group 0 has ~21K members. Thus, in Group Ads Group 1 will outpace Group 0 about double or more. However, Group 0 will also get lots of other ads, like CT, Instant etc on top of that. About the same amount as b4 aka the MAP and what they got b4 in value but more ads. While proofing this with what Marc's post says, I came across this caveat, regarding Group 0: "-They can't evade the BAP tax" I'd argue, that if they start with 0 BAP, buy 1 BA, now are at 3100 BAP, consumer 1501 BAP or more in 14 days or less, they technically will be able to avoid the BAP tax, for those days. Though, 75c in 14 days or less, for Group 0, not realistic at this time. And, 75c is not $1, so until they hit $1, they will be taxed after the 14 days are up. Another good news. Sometimes when I think that how previous CEO of MTV cheated the members (I was not a member that time) and still members are so faithful to this company, then it surprises me. But then I know the reason. It's only and only because of Marc. He did a great job of building broken trust, which I think is the most difficult thing for any business. He kept on surprising us with his decisions again and again. His mind keeps on brainstorming all day. Be it hard decisions or middle way, he kept on rolling like a boulder, crushing all the negativity beneath him. And those who walked behind him have reached till here. MTV might not be the greatest crowd sourcing site, but it surely is on the way. Our community boasts of active members who keep on doing some creative work to make this site a better place. And this is all because of Marc. But I guess there is still a bad news in it. As Marc will realize his potential, as more of his ideas will become hit, and as he will see his power to uplift even the drowned ships, he will start becoming selfish. He will start thinking about himself. His ambitions will grow. He will start getting offers from the biggest companies like Google and Facebook. And then one day he will leave us for a giant company, or maybe even make his own giant company.
