Without margin it really is not that easy to protect yourself from a dip.
I lost on margin 1 time too much..
Very recently, I never posted about it.. But let's just say that it was a huge strike and I lost 90% of my capital.
Normally I would have been shorting this market.

We are currently considering changing our business model.
Currently our business is based on USD, while 95% of our investors deposited with Bitcoin and are dying to see us change the business from USD to bitcoin, to make sure their bitcoin totals grow at the end of the deal.
As we also trade in bitcoin and not in usd/usdt, it makes sense.
We believe bitcoin is better than fiat and everyone who invests with bitcoin agrees with that statement.
We are planning to add ethereum and other crypto's in the future, which will then all be based on bitcoin-value the moment you deposit.
Currently we are dealing with multiple factors which make a dollar-based crypto trading business very hard to run and bitcoin generally moves up over longer periods of time, causing people to be in favor of btc.
What do you think? We care for your opinion. This is from their facebook page go over and comment on it please.

Man! Really disappointing. You really worries me. That means the Polo player we talked before is not as bad as it seems. Apparently he's down 50% (in the books) with good chance to recover. But you lost 90% of your account? Damn ! Does it mean playing on margin is a dangerous gamble?

Poloniex got ddos attacks, they kept their markets open.
I was on the same pair as the guy you're talking about, but I was on margin.
Then, when it seemed like it was going to recover a bit, my account got haunted by bugs, which bled my account dry.

All tickets to poloniex have remained unanswered so far, the oldest one for 56 days already.

Overall I am a good trader and it took me 3 black swan events, killing me while on margin, to learn that margin is something not to touch, no matter how certain.
If the exchanges you're dealing with are of an unregulated nature and are constantly haunted by hackers/ddos/other black swan events, you do not want to go to bed with a margin position opened.

Anyway, back to Loyal Crypto, I am sure my downline will be happy with their new idea, so I support it.

Today news. In case there any one still on the fence about jumping in.

The market is nowhere near recovering yet.
One small green day did not make up for the big red days before that.
Today we are dealing with yet another red day.
There is a possibility that bitcoin will see 2420 later tonight, at which point we can determine the further direction of the market more accurately.

You can use this formula:

y(t) = p*(1+i/n)^(nt)

Where y is the amount of money in function of t - time
p is the principal, so the amount you invested
i is the interest rate
n is the number of compoundings per t units (if you have an yearly interest rate, then t is year and n will be the number of times that your capital is compounded)

If it's to use specifically in Loyal Crypto, then you may not use the n, and just go for t as days.

However, as an example, let's suppose that they pay an interest rate of 1% everyday and you invest 100$. Then you will get 1$ daily until you get 20$, so when you get 120% of your money back. I made the mistake previously of counting compounding everyday, so you'd get 101$ at the second day, 102.1 at the third, 104.2 at the fourth, etc.

After discussing it with Kai and Marc we have come to the following conclusion/trading idea which might very well lead to a change of trading habits within Loyal Crypto.

It seems we are entering a bearmarket for multiple months, but as of now we can't be sure yet.
Once it breaks the $2420 barrier on bitcoin (with confidence) it will be very clear for us.
We will turn all assets to USDT and use small parts of the capital to short whenever we experience triangle breakdowns on various pairs.
This means that we will be forced to use at least some margin, which we will limit to 10% of the total assets, per given trade.
In a way we might not have picked the best moment to open the project, as we are yet to gain your trust, but right now we will have to adjust our mindset and start capitalizing on a potential breakdown of the overall crypto market cap.

We are still working on changing our system from USD to Bitcoin, which will be finished somewhere next week, most likely.
We will continue to be a solid investment over time.

They are paying the promised 0.1% so far, yesterday they sent 0.08 but they covered that today (0.12 + 0.08 = 0.2/2 = 0.1).

From their fb page. We have frankly just been busy today, but considering the fact that we are now in USDT, waiting for the market to do something and we are not earning any money right now, it DOES make very little sense to continue 0.1% payments.
Especially as noone really earns from it in the first place, it creates $1 cashouts which cost 3x that amount in fees and the money is basically "created" from nothing/deducted from future payments.

The market is very unreliable at the moment, it seems volume is entering the market again, yet it is still within the pennant, so we might still turn out to be right about a bearish market coming soon.

Sound like Marc might want to start looking for buyer of that insurance RP he offered.

Problem solve you raise the withdrawal limit to something sensible like 10 dollars. you can always lower it again when things get going. as far as the 0.1% i never figured that one out. i thought it was 0.01% for along time which would make sense as showing there is life in the program. But i agree with no one making money 0.1% is kind of steep. starting to think you all bit off more then you were prepared for. But for now i am still trusting you all know what you doing.
