The oldest campaign (and all olds campaigns - oldest now has 174 days left, ALL under 7K) has FINALLY been completed! My Math says instead of a <$10,300 refund, it took us ~$145 (exact figure would take loads of work). It took 3 issues of 20 cheapest ad value of all sent to ~14,500 of us over the course of 3 straight days (SUN-TUE). WISH we would space them out a bit better, so as to not overload servers like we do when we complete these in mass. That's ~870K initial hits ($435), however, ~31% got recycled, which means that ~530K ($265) need cash on hand to pay (unless tax/used in the system). But, the BAP debt also went down, via recycles pays for a lot of that ~240 ($120). $265-$120 = $145. For simplicity, I'm not worrying about ref 5%, hard to know how much goes back to MTV or how much goes to inactive taxed uplines. NOR, do I know how much of the 60 BAP per user would have been taxed instead. Also, while ~14,500 clicked, not all will ever cash (the $0.0285 per user) out. Bottomline: Potential Cost if no one recycled and the same amount of hits were sent = ~$435 Initial Cost (after recycles) = ~$265 Reduction in BAP Debt AKA debt that does not now need to be paid ever = ~$120 FINAL COST = ~$145 (NOT PRICELESS, But WELL WORTH IT.)

So it looks like we are at breakeven now. That's not too bad considering we have ~$6500 in sales per week. If Marc wanted to, when we get our other debts paid down, he could start buying back BAP on the open market to reduce it in the future

I wonder if ad-pack sales are higher because the amount of BAP/$ on market-place is getting lower.

While one would think that without looking into it, I can safely say not in this case.Caro55, a huge gambler, acquires their BAP via buying Bulk Ads, always has. They bought (~2420) a lot more than they normally do in a week, which is more than the difference we see here week to week. BTW, they not only use up almost all their BAP, they bought enough BAP just to go on vacation and will miss the rest of their 1% ads, I think 6 days of them. Though when they were around, they do claim the 64 BAP reward. Another gambler who I don't see advertise often, as far as large enough campaigns, bought 500 campaigns all themselves. They are short the 1.5MIL BAP group atm. The difference is almost aways (other times it's a sale related) did huge Gamblers acquire BAP that week or not. And, while I don't know how many use the market, I know that it doesn't matter the $ to BAP ratio, some Gamblers always just buy BA. Often, I wonder, how much would the gamblers prefer, and it would give us PV users more $, if BAP for gamling and BAP for Ad Issues were seperate entites. Or at least you check off which uses you want your BAP to be used for. This way gamblers don't have to worry about PV (Group Ads/1% Ads etc) if they don't want to. And, since many of them have huge balances, it would spread out the Ad Issue to us more.

That's actually a good idea. Since it doesn't cost the site to serve those ads the gamblers should get a pop in their BAP. Even if it is the money back for the 1% ads. That might also cause them to buy more. I'm surprised more don't just take advantage of the RP market since that is a better deal for turning cash into gambling BAP.

True, but that is actually a good thing. It won't be the site that loses. It will be the clickers that sell their BAP for 60 cents on the dollar

If they don't see any ad, they will be inactives even if they are playing games, right? So problem solved

If they never, or don't often enough, view an AA, they will be inactive.Trouble is (as far as problem solved), apparently enough of these gamblers do go ahead and click on at least one. Even if they play with millions of BAP, 12 BAP is enough, same with cash ads. Also, the cash they get from group ads can be used on cash games (or more BAP). I still think there are enough gamblers who would play with BAP if they could ignore PV. IMO, BAP is CASH, just another form, and thus we have MTV/PPMG/PBG for CASH, but I think there are enough that like "tokens". Look at casino's, they use chips, not CASH, even in the Hotel High Roller Rooms.
