But agree, something needs to be done to stop such campaigns. Blocking adult urls isn't going to help as those banners are not promoting adult sites [may be some are]. They only redirect to investment sites.

Those banners are uploaded so there is no way we can know who is uploading what. Such campaign can only be reported when seen. Even if the accounts which promote such ads are banned they will open another account and continue doing the same.

I don't think there is any way we can stop all these. The only thing that can be done is ban adult urls and put the sites promoted by these accounts on banned list. This way they won't be able to promote their programs.

I thought raising this concern will lessen those offending .gif pictures. It seems that it only heightened those members to post more pictures of those kinds. Is there a way to track down members who posts those pictures? All ads that I click yesterday has those booby pix (mind you its more than a 100!!) and I am also getting sick of seeing those nonsense. I will REALLY send support ticket just to report them!!!

Reporting isn't going to help. Support will need either the account ids or the ad campaign number to ban those accounts.

Isn't it strange that non-religious people always have to respect religious people and not vice versa ? What if we like these banners on our website because that's our liberal culture or 'faith'?

In any case, I've to restrain myself and I shall stay away from these topics in the future. It's up to Jo to decide what to do with the TOS-issues, these seem to be legit problems atm.

(1) I am too noting some banners are showing "indecent or provoking' signs or scenes on some pages. I just leave it ignored since that pages need NOT want much attending of time related to PV earnings. Ads view pages where I have to attend much time are clean to me. Forum too.

(2) I don't know what is the case in Pakistan, but on most the other regions in the world popular Newspapers and TV Channels show so many such "Provoking or indecent Advertisements. I have NOT heard any civilized societies OR families avoiding such Newspapers/TV Channels for merely having that Ads on some parts of the pages/scenes. Nor asking authorities to stop such ads on moral/religious grounds. As I ignore such Ads without giving consideration, people ignore such ads. Minor persons may be attracted to such ads with curiosity. .But Paidverts asks for minimum 18 years to be a member.

(3) PV has many games that are similar to gambling. Would you ask for separation of such games from PV since your religion does NOT allow any link directly OR indirectly to gambling or earnings from gambling? Or you leave the site on religious concerns?

(4) What about your threatening that you are to ask your referrals too to leave this site and " Many other members will leave " on the same issue.
[,i would also tell my friends who are my referrals to leave and i am the first to take a stand and leave this site and i know that many others who have the same complain will also leave....]

Issues are to be solved on discussing with Admin. Not by spamming Forum by posts OR threatening the site about bringing or imposing damages to the site.

The only thing that can be done is banning accounts and urls. But uploading images? there's no way you can know.

This is the best solution I can think for this "situation":

On a PTC website called "BuxP" (6yrs old PTC) there is an option to view "Adult themed ads" by going to personal settings and selecting the "Yes, I want to view Adult themed ads" button (or something like that

). But by default it is always OFF.

On PaidVerts we can use a similar functionality, and even charge a small premium to those advertisers!

The benefits of this solution:

1. More Money from advertisers who are keen on showing Adult themed banners.

2. Nobody gets offended and has to leave the site (or tell their refs to do so) since by default the functionality to view such ads is OFF.

3. This functionality is easy to program and won't take much of programmer's time.

4. No banning of accounts or URLs or 'moral policing' needed!

5. Last but not the Least - EVERYONE IS HAPPY / NOT OFFENDED / MAKES MONEY

TL;DR: Well, if you're going to go on an epic rant on a forum, in which you behave disrespectfully, while not having read any part of the forum in the past 2 weeks at least, not keeping up-to-date with the news, and while not taking the time to check the fact that there's 20 other topics with the exact same issue even in the topic title in the same forumcategory, you shouldn't be surprised if people react with cynism, sarcasm, and mockery... You're basically calling it upon yourself.

Regardless of that: I agree that either the issue should be fixed, or that the rules should be edited, whichever way Jo prefers. I think most people will agree with that, because obviously, breaking the rules isn't a good thing.

90% of internet is porn, thats fact, billions of sites, blogs etc...(this is not about supporting or non supporting porn on net its true). And ratje indeed put things quite reasonable here, this topic really doesnt need anymore discuss nor fuss about it.

I will not try to comment such post I will just fix what is not true:
1. 90% of internet is not porn, it is question if is 1% od that. (Reason, best paying advertisements like google adsense do not support that, and they have at least 50 percent alone + all others which do not support that).
2. Most people do not tolerate porn, and as I see most of us do not agree with you 25% which tolerate that.

Conclusion: That must be fixed, and all arogant people must be banned (for start few days, or even better to block their accounts on PV-MTV for fey days, so we will see if they will repeat that when they lose money), cause they repeat insults on more topics.

That was friendly community, and I hope it will stay that way. Porn is not allowed here, and I will say in short! Naked pictures are not supported, and all other not related pictures are misleading which is forbidden on most sites! Such pictures also are not moral cause they "steal" clicks from other banners, and also they are against religion or moral of most people (most girls, married people, etc etc.). I also do not like banners which advertise religion but under that you see earningas. Low moves and I hope that will be fixed soon, and such users warned! And if they repeat that even banned for few days, or maybe better some fee will be deducted from their account (money) as measure of warning).

I will repeat that how many times will be needed, and I really think Jo should do that, cause system will earn even more from people which break rules

Just imagine some genuine advertiser who plan to spend a bunch of cash to advertise

his online business, but when he comes here and see a lot of banners of women in bikinis,

do you think he will advertise here or will go to some exclusive advertising network.

Hi Jo,

Please do reply to such continuing posts. You used to be calm even though you are able to see many thread started everyday.

Since you are not replying, some rude members used to reply very arrogantly to the others even for the members normal doubts/concerns and queries. As stated by MisterDD, its better to have a moderator to the forum. ( Hope you will avoid such rude members as Mods).

We want to hear from you something regarding this "porn" or so called porn images.
Its not that much difficult to audit and approve the banner images before they are published. All you need is need manpower. There are lot of member to do that in PV even for free of cost. If you want we can give them few BAPs/ Shares to them for their contribution. Hope you will reply to the members concerns.

Please guys, do not leave site. Those people which break rules are ONLY individuals. Please give time to our admin Jo, he will see what is best for system, he just need some time cause system has many tasks to be done, which are priority.

Just report such banners, and that is it. Report it as misleading, and also porn is NOT ALLOWED here.

No need to insult admin or any other guys in moderation. I can say for sure that Jo is good person, so please people chill and relax. Noone should go anywhere, this is anyway best site on internet as far as I know.

Just report such banners to administration, and stay in system people. They have much tasks to complete, they cant change all in one single day.

I recommend admin to put some money fee for those which break rules, that will be great revenue for system.

Ps: Jo if you read this try to be calm, people are just provocated by those banners, I am sure they do not want to insult, but since some people insult us back that is human reaction, and some of them do mistakes.

Please people try to ignore fights on forum and try to be friendly community as we always were. Those issues will be solved on some way sooner or later, I am sure.

people are not rude because they are such people the problem is when multiple people say the same stuff all over the forum over and over again, and yes we need to stop fighting and inform people that they need to search before open new posts as that will help both themselves and us

and regarding the problem, you have if you read the other threads seen that the issue is working on so this will be stopped in some way by our settings or we will have a userpanel and remove such ads but when that upgrade is installed i don't know yet

@ Rtrplay - you got the point, but that is not excuse. People which insult mostly do that because they just enjoy in that.

I think Jo should punish people which insult with 1 or 2 days of ban, or to ban them from forum for few days.

Use example, if you ban for day or two Colosander, Tupko, and all involved here, or many other people for insults or provocations on topics or other users which break rules of MTV-PV, revenue to system will be preety, cause all will go to recycle (or will be somehow redirected to system). So we will see in future who will insult.

But you got the point, people need to look about existing threads, and to be calm and friendly.
