Not directly MTV related, so I put it in a misc-topic.It gives you an insight in the past few years of my life and might explain you why my behavior on the forum has been different from before. I never spoke about it before, but this partly reveals why running MTV has not been all that easy. I´ve been told it´s a good article, so I decided to post it here as well. Link

Great story that could/should inspire many of us, Marc.Although your story is in a much larger scale compared to mine, I came to almost the same conclusions that you made in that period. Especially about getting rid of people that spread endless negativity. I really don't understand sometimes what's that in some people that makes them so unfriendly/cruel/negative/jealous/egoistic... It's all about money and property these days and it seems to me that every day less and less people care about human relationships, being kind to each other and to be a good person in general. Sad indeed, but as long as are aware of that and you do your best not to become one of them, you'll be fine, at least mentally, which is definitely more important than to be rich, while having fake friends and living shallow life. In any case, it's amazing what you've been through in your twenties, because most of people don't have so many ups and downs during their entire life.

damn Marc that story hit me hard. I've been dealing with depression for a long time now and well I've found that its all about the people you have around you that make it easier to deal with. And i hope you get better.

That is quite the challenge you faced.I think other things you can add to the healing part is proper nutrition and a good daily routine of activity. The routine gives you things to focus on other than what isn't working. Plus, if you get into bad habits you can compare what you are doing to what you should be doing

I partially know something about that. I never was into depresion, but I was into serious/gigantic preasure and obligations....... Huge expectations + huge obligations from big ammount of people. Those times are now behind me, still its key to overpass that. But I like how you guys lead system now. Way way better than before, I know it was not easy road, still many of your moves were key to return people back, one of them is me. I saw some good signs, better forum weather was key also. |
