1) I'd like to add a 1% non-refundable "bidding fee" for anyone undercutting the marketplace rate with their bids.2) When selling shares, users can either: i) Pay a 0.5% up front, non-refundable listing fee. And then when their shares sell; they only incur a 2.5% transfer fee. Thereby the total is the exact same as what you pay now. or ii) Pay no up front fee, list for free (cancel anytime, without penalty), and instead incur a 4% transfer fee when your shares sell. Thereby a 1% penalty. The intention of the above point, is to only have users list their shares for sale if they're really serious about selling them at that specific price. Not changing things every two minutes. As that just creates road blocks... If you want to sell, then sell! If not, stay away from the marketplace and let the price rise. What do you think? (I've not sent either of these to the programmers yet)

I think option 1 in both cases is the way to go. This way, serious sellers aren't punished.Good idea!

Maybe only on large blocks of shares or make the fee go up for large blocks of shares 1000 or more. I don't think small sellers can hurt the market too muchAlso if the seller's price is above the bid at the time of bidding maybe you could waive the fee. This will have the biggest impact on the sellers of higher blocks of shares and shouldn't affect PV because you always list above the market price This will encourage people to sell above the price at the time of selling.

What if we could encourage big shareholders with a few shares weekly? For example give 1 share per every 10000 shares you hold. This way everybody will be interested in collecting them as many as possible. And selling less. Maybe use some sort of reserve fund for this.

It's a market and people list the shares how they wan't. It's their money. If they wan't to sell, let them and if you wan't the price to increase, just buy shares. It's fine by now.Soon or later price will climb. Just let the "nature" do what she wan't

The only question is, why is Paidverts not snapping up those shares instead of listing their own shares from 0.053 till 0.0505? The last week PV did not buy much, so is sitting on a shitload of cash, because it also barely invested in the 250% plan..

Maybe Paidverts wan't to develop more features and is saving some money to bring the programmers full time.I'm not even trying to defend Paidverts but can be that. Paidverts should be buying shares and put the price higher. But for me it's fine in that price. I'm just waiting for my investment on 186% plan and after that I will buy some shares

PaidVerts is selling shares because it lists them at 2.5x the purchase price. Before the split there were around 6k PV shares at 0.5$. ~20k were already sold for 0.05$ and now there's 40k more listed. So that's all good imo. Could be Jo is saving up money to drive the price up in one big purchase. About 30k$-40$k of shares separates us from the magical 0.1$(1$7per old share), and only about 15-20$K to 0.06$/share.

Quihosking, please try to understand the concept of MTV/PV before saying something, because what you say is nonsense. PV is not using that money for other features, first of all MTV is the owner of everything and therefore will build all new features. And the whole concept of PV is to invest half of its money in shares and 250%, to get 2,5 times the money back for every single dollar invested, because that is the only way PV can pay $1.55 for every dollar of ad packs bought. Because 2.5 x $0.50 = $1.25 + $0.10 (1% ads for purchaser) + $0.10 (1% random ads) + $0.10 (something else, don't exactly know again what is was, might be referral commission) = $1.55 total. So PV must invest, it does not have a choice..

Oh, thank you colasander.Didn't know the Paidverts money only can be invested in the 250% plan and in shares. I think they can use the money to develop new products. Now some things in my head make sense. But you are right. Thank you one more time.

PaidVerts is accumulating funds... I'm waiting for the share price to settle after the split before buying again. And if PV can keep selling at 51-53cents, then great. As if you remember previously; it had a whole bunch for sale at 50cents. So that's a bit of a bonus.--- And I want to start opening up some of the admin privilages to shareholders. For two reasons; 1) Help provide oversight of the system, spot abuse / bugs etc. 2) Gives an extra incentive to accumulate shares. And make you feel more like you actually own a part of the company. ---- I'm thinking three main levels; 1) 10,000+ Shares - View all pending cashouts - View user profiles / histories - View pending share transfers - Balance Summaries & the few admin stats 2) 250,000+ Shares - All of the above - Allow them access to Support Tickets - Monitor Admin Controls - Limited abilities to change user account data (All actions logged) * Basically trying to make large shareholders partial admins... But not giving away so much access that our security goes to hell. And keep everything logged and watched over; so that if anyone is abusing their power. They run the risk of losing a substantial investment (ie. all the shares they own) 3) 5,000,000+ shares (majority shareholder) ... here I want to provide basically full access to the entire system. However, I want to limit certain areas with a 'conditional time lock'. ie. If Jo doesn't login and push a certain button by a given time each day; then the other majority shareholders have full access to do things like announce results, pay fast tracks etc... But otherwise, keep those features locked down to one account for maximum security. But in the event that i'm not available... someone has the control to do everything. --- Anyway, this will be a bit of work to code in. So as usual, it'll have to wait! But that's the direction i'd like the shares to head in.

Wow, your last message would be great. Everybody wants to have shares! Also I am thinking, might it be an option to just shut down the bid part of the sharemarket again? We can see now that this side is blocking the growth of the shares system.. Because if no one can bid for shares, if they want shares, they must buy the cheapest ones listed.

Hi Jo... I think it is brilliant idea. I think many or some of us really want to help you out with some of these tasks.. I always wonder how you manage everything. I for one, will like to have some of the responsibilities if possible. Be part of MTV family not only from an investment point of view but rather like a worker! Delegation is an art every great leader has mastered.I understand there are serious security issues that needs to be considered but like you already pointed out, you will be the master admin of all admins. Invest more time into these ideas and reach back to the community and see who are the persons interested to be trained or willing to take up some of the responsibilities. MTV is ballin'

I think the bid market is perfectly fine it give a balance between sellers listing shares for sale and buyer wanting to buy shares. It also gives the seller an option of instantly liquidating share assets if needed. I do think the idea Jo posted about a .5% listing fee would be great though. Then that is even more revenue if members decide to just list then cancel a bunch of time. Then that would deter anyone from ever just making huge roadblocks.

Actually bids can also work in favor of raising share price: they limit sellers(a bit) from going too low with their prices. The shareholder/support staff ideas are definitely what should be next on priority programming list after the current matters are finished. MTV is becoming to big(finally!) to be handled by one person and these everyday tasks that take up most of your time definitely need to be helped with. Plus it will give this business the credibility that NO OTHER online business has -> there's not just one or a few persons behind the program who can "scam" at anytime, but there's a whole bunch behind, many of them smaller investors who do their part. Great potential here!
