Just a FYI for all those who plan to refer new members to PV...Let them know to choose usernames with less than 14 chars because those kind of usernames WILL be able to register but you WILL NOT be able to PIF them because their username is too long (too many chars). Only way to PIF them would be for them to open a new account under you with a shorter username.
That`s the answer I got from support. Ironic indeed...
I`m not sure though how many chars is OK...just that 14 is too much ( as in example of my ref).

I think (in fact, I'm sure) that something is wrong with referral counting for special ad issue. A week ago I lost 1 "officially recognized" referral so I stopped receiving referral ad issue, but this referral of mine is still clicking all of his ads, every single day, and from this Monday I counted 125 clicks. However, I have officially zero referrals for corresponding ad issue, although some of PV co-op referrals are also clicking every day so I should have more active referrals who viewed at least 100 ads during the last 7 days.

I think only recently subscribed referrals earn you the referrer ad issue. My count says 0 while I referred in the past.

Maybe only people who joined in the last 7 days who started clicking right away and got minimum 100 ads in those 7 days... count...

How recently? After the rework? It should mean that there couldn't be corresponding ad issue for at least 4-5 days after rework, because referrals should have first clicked at least 100 ads to count for this ads. If I remember right, I had 1 referral since the beginning. I'll count now clicks of my new referrals, after the rework, so I could be sure if something is definitelly wrong here.

Edit: no, my new referrals viewed only up to 60 ads during the last 7 days so maybe really only new referrals count.

I was also puzzled about the situation because right after the rework I started with 9 active refs and I got the issues for a few days...but that number decreased with time.
Now I`m almost sure that you can be payed only 7 days maximum per user...IF that user is registered in the last 7 days and watched over 100 ads during those days.
So the whole story about Ref ad issue is a temporary ``earning``... unless you keep getting new refs day by day...and they click 100 ads in their first 7 days.
Otherwise...old ref who decided to first click now, after a month or so...won`t matter at all...

The referral ad issue is meant to stimulate the members to create a constant influx of new members, which will benefit the system as a whole.

For how long do you receive these ads? If new ref clicked 100+ ads in 7 days, do you get ad issue only for one day afterward? How is all of this calculated?

The concept of Ref ad issue is quite ok...but unfortunately a lot of people simply don`t read or check their mail...so subsequently they don`t see the welcome messages (which I believe many of us send to new members) and they`re not as active in the beginning as we would want them to be

I wish there was a pop-up showing somewhere on Dashboard (for new members) saying something like ``Check your e-mail for Paidverts updates and Sponsor messages - both might include perks or bonuses for you``

I know this, I mean more about such a long-term chart to track the periodic price fluctuations and what is happening there.
Something like that https://blockchain.info/charts/market-price .... there was something similar on the old Paidverts, quite a separate page with charts and quotations.
