I want to go big in February with a huge test. This should be the perfect time because the north will still be in winter and many will be indoors. People will be back to school and back from Christmas holidays. They should be getting bored and have Christmas bills to pay so this should be the perfect time to offer our incredible money making opportunity. My plan is to buy a 1 month ad at Neobux YES! Let's go big in February! I think this would be a great investment and a huge boost for paidverts. We already spend $370 for four days per month so it would not be a huge leap. A whole month would cost $2160. That would be a big investment for me and if necessary I'm willing to move some savings to do it but I see PV as one of my better investments now and my revenue over the next year would pay me back if it doesn't work out but I think it will (I can probably fund it from BTC profits anyway at this rate) The risk to reward ratio is very good. I think it would produce about 50 referrals per day minimum and I don't think we would saturate the market but that is the test and risk part. That would put the cost per referral at around $1.30 which is a little on the high side but with the volumes, the chance of getting big spenders are higher so you would have the chance of creating more permanent income plus you have the PV referral bonuses on top of that If 10% of the 1500 are big spenders then that is 150 potential big spenders in the new crowd. If 5% then that is still 75 This is a big, bold (and expensive) venture, so for February, I'm going to suspend the maximum of 5 spots you can buy but I also want to limit the total number of spots to 216 (which would work out to $10 for each spot and pay the whole cost) so that we don't get too much dilution. I plan to take a minimum one to measure the statistics and will fill in all the empty spots cost up to 216 if it falls short so there will be at least 215 free spots open that will go on a first come first serve basis. I'm obviously writing this early in case you want to save a little money to get in on this. I'll be holding back other advertising so as to spend on this when the time comes (I will still support the co-op through December and January in the normal way). I think this will be a good way to get us in front of the NB crowd and February is the perfect month for online workers If you just want to buy a normal ad spot in February, you are more than welcome to do that. I am not offering pressure but opportunity and a chance to speed up our growth with some high quality spenders and clickers from NB. I'm going through with this no matter what and depending on how I set up the format, even buying one spot could end you up with four or five spots for the price of one depending on how many join (i.e. if 50 people buy one spot and I only take one myself then each person will get over four spots worth of traffic. Granted, I know you wouldn't like to shift savings around if someone who is willing to help fill spots but then pulls out/never replies again. For instance, Marc could buy 10 slots in first come first serve, but "commit" to 20 more. So, you have 20 more slots filled (30 total), but you are leaving them (20) open if Agency still hasn't given you 10. Or, maybe it would be "easier/simpler" to do buy rounds. You have until Jan 11th to get yourself "virtually" guranteed first come first serve limited slots (10). Then until Jan 21st, up to 20...whether you have 0-10 already. Then, the final 10 days it's unlimited, but ofc first comes first serve. Granted, If you fill up b4, with 10 or 20 slots limits, oh well...and sorta good b/c you are saying seems limits are good for spread out refs. P.S. I was also going to say that people could pledge to buy certain spots but they don't have to send the money until the last week. So if we make it that every week in January you can buy 10 and then I'll announce how many are left in the last week (or keep an anonymous running total posted every few days or so) and that could be a free for all, first come first served. The week end would be based on the MTV week ending Sunday night If you don't buy (or pledge) for any in the first week then you can still pledge for 20 in the second. Due to the slowness of the blockchain, is why I was thinking "Marc" could send all "30" (in my previous example) as soon as he wants to, and that way there is less chance of too much BTC pending as you won't be able to tell NB "I have the $, but some of it's in the chain". But, more work for you, though I'm not sure how much to trust pledges early in the month to be filled later. It is still pending because they put 0 fees on it. If I pay the network fee, the payment goes through in a matter of hours. I think it just depends on what you want to do. Most people know how long transactions take based on what fees they spend. If they show up late I'm willing to give people the benefit of the doubt. The more important thing is that we don't go over the 216 spots. Also, you have pretty good radar because I was also going to announce that I can take LTC now so you could always transfer your funds to LTC or send the BTC to your payza account and do it that way That way you can use the BTC as a last resort. I think we in the PTC industry are going to put BTC in the penalty box for a while until they get their network problem figured out. While BTC is still fine for large transactions it is getting more difficult for us. That is why I'm shifting to using mainly LTC and payza That all said, don't worry about the cost. If I plan a buy I have ways to cover it like shifting savings and replenishing it later (I'm a pretty prudent money manager). I can always use my CC if I absolutely need to and then pay with funds as they come in. By telling you about this February bash early I will also be building up the funds for that point. Basically I'll be buying in and reselling to you guys in pieces as it happens. If we can fill this up then maybe I'll have a cash float that lets us continue for the next month.
