The ad campaigns I have bought here are mainly for BAP. But I am worried that Paidverts will never be a big advertisement website if it keeps going like this. Let me tell you about a portuguese website called Adfamilies and why is it getting ads for big brands from Coca Cola to BMW and many more. People from those brands (marketing department, most likely) pay Adfamilies to show their ads to users and in the end users give their opinion. When an user opens an ad, he is forced to keep his focus on the ad, or the video just pauses, and in the end the user will have to answer one or two questions about the ad he just saw. That's the kind of captcha that not only allows you to make sure that the user is not a bot but also that he payed atention to the ad. And finally another few questions from 0 to 10 for user to say if he liked the ad, if the ad made him want to buy that product, etc... As far as I see, if I had a big business I wouldn't invest some ads in PV because people just open the ads, click those 3 notepads, solve a (sometimes not) simple captcha and while they're waiting for those 30 secs, they gan go see other websites and then come back just to confirm and get the cash. I do that, everybody does that. No wonder for 1 cent or less that anybody would give a crap. But if I was forced to see ads and had to answer a few questions for, let's say about 10 cents, I guess I wouldn't mind so much. Of course that the advertiser would pay much more for this service than just a dollar for a thousand views, making it sustainable to pay a bit better to users. I want to get rich here, I like MTV and PV. I don't want this to be just another PTC full of ref links. I want to see really big brands here, I want this place that I love to be like Times Square, I want to participate in better advertising for companies making them profit at the same time that I am making profit. I really hope people like this idea and that it goes ahead because I believe it's the way to call those big money spending brands. By the way, Adfamilies is in portuguese, that's why it is not really a big thing yet and the earnings are good but there's not that many ads to see. HTMail.com had this 10-15yrs ago (lost track of what happened to them, but they were around for at least 10yrs I think, paying 2-10c per ad with a very short questionnaire mainly opinion out of 5 answers and feedback (fill in valid sentence. They even made it much easier to get into contact with the advertiser.)) Sounds good, i personally would like to see this happen, but not as a replacement of our current ad-vieving system, but as an addition to it. On a side note, i think one of our main priorities is to improve the quality of the current PV advertising - not just targeted ads, but maybe a forced view, and definitely removing the final copy/paste button, making the user type the advertiser's slogan/message, like in the old days. Never heard of HTMail.com but would also like to know what hapened to them @ blakpope Yes, it would be an adition, the rest of the ad campaigns would still go on. I just hope that users don't think of this as a bad thing because it will take longer to see an ad.
