It's a hypothetical question, before anyone gets excited...but just to stimulate a discussion, let's say one of our 'whales' made a significant amount of cash in a crypto bull run and wanted to park say $20-$50k in MTV.

How should MTV spend it?

With 500,000,000 RPs the company is nominally valued at $400,000 (at an RP price of .008).

That is crazy given the returns of PPMG alone. I appreciate there is the problem of the FTQ debt - which is around $220k if I remember correctly) but let's say PTCShare has a strong launch (in approx 2 months) where exactly is 'the moon' in everyone's opinion.

Things could turn around here very very quickly.

Any clue about Ptcshare. Say $1000 if we invest, in how many days/months we could return it back.

There could be a lot of hype at the beginning so it might be relatively quick. You'll probably want to maintain a high group level though so it might be smarter to focus on creating a steady cash flow with that money.

With no share market to divert money away, plus the gambling market, the cycle might be fast and accelerating. We also won't have a huge BAP debt holding us back. If we can create a situation where we have more dollars than BAP, then the BAP will get more valuable to hold which could create a virtuous circle of valuation

It will depend on the crowd and how much confidence in the site we can build I think. We have a huge BAP debt on this site. Who knows what can happen when we are running without that and not creating a new one at the new site

I think the biggest concern is the pump and dump crowd. We saw it here. Unfortunately, there is a group of people in this industry who will pump up a site, create huge hype and then take a bunch of money out which drains the site of most of their cash flow and leave it dead in the water. These people are like site vampires that exploit the hopes of smaller players and drain the site of its lifeblood (cash flow).

Marc, if you're reading this, you might want to limit withdrawals so as to keep these folks from killing the site soon after it is born. As long as they know in advance that withdrawals will be limited, they can go in with their eyes wide open. After all, the base point of the site is for advertising, right?

no need to limit cashouts as long as investors are only paid with earnings. Only if a system is unsustainable in the first place or you pay old investors with money of new ones pump and dump creates a snowball effect at the way down.

Maybe I'm not seeing it but if someone puts in a million dollars and then attempts to cash out 1.12mm going forward when the average cash flow is 1000 per month (obviously I'm using extreme examples here but that is how you test theories), it is going to swamp the site. Sure, you can pay him with his own money for a time, but only until you run out of his money.

Unless you are going to limit ad click values on the higher group levels but I guess that would serve the same purpose...almost.

I've seen it dozens of times with these revenue shares before. People will throw big money at it and in a few months, the thing has stalled as all the big players start cashing out. I'm not sure why you think this time it would be different

You can also look at our share market here to see how big players distort the market for everyone

Correct me if I'm wrong, but as long as the site has the funds aka the 1mil they got plus the 120K through other methods plus ofc some percentage of profit for overhead/fees, then the revenue could be "overhead costs" per month and the site would be alive, just not sending out ad issues etc.

Besides, with no BAP Market, how could someone cashout more than their earnings (which we know is backed b/c of who runs the site now)?

They don't need to limit cashouts, they should just do what they've been doing for a few years now, have a buffer of money for ad issues built up for slower purchase times and for suprise bigger ad issues and adjust ad issue sizes if long term the revenue is different.

Someone doesn't need to cash out more than their earnings, they just need to cash out (or try to cash out) the amount they invested, plus their ROI, plus the cost of running the site over that time. If the total ROI exceeds the cash flow the site is swamped
