It seems we were attacked last night by a bunch of illegal resource access attempts & SQL injections via some bot according to Incapsula... It's not actually done anything other than crash various elements of our server. Anyway, so that's all been restarted along with a few other bits. And we're working again! There's an issue displaying captchas at PaidVerts at the moment; but Paul is working on that right now. So we should be back to 100% (with just the regular speed issues ) imminently. What a week aye!? First DNS issues; now this! Plus general scaling issues. And this is when things are all going super well Unbelievable! I don't have any other news at the moment, and needless to say the PV daily ad issue will wait until a bit later once everything is working properly with the captchas etc. I'll get back to you later! I agreed with you about the mass email suggestion. But unfortunately, as Jo pointed out.. it only works when site works... but I wanna believe there is an alternative. Probably port the email addresses to another tool or email client (as backup and update it from time to time). Anyway, Jo tries to keep us updated via his facebook newsfeed. I think it is of value to add him or send a friend request on Facebook.  By the way, has MTV and Paidverts got twitter and google + accounts? Hmmm.. funny how we get our news these days. And we're still working on various other reliability issues, speeding up the website etc. There's actually a lot going on behind the scenes; but you can't really see anything in terms of new features / products. What about today's AD circulation tupko Traffic Value: $32,122.18249 Croatia (LOCAL Name: Hrvatska) 8 like this post 0 people 28/06/2014 21:52 it was only a matter of time when these hackers or whoever jealous people were going to interfere with our business, and let me tell you, unfortunately, these attacks will happen more and more as we continue to grow and succeed. and because MTV has the potential to become enormous and huge successful business one day, I cannot stress enough how much security is important right now and in the near future... hackers/DDoS attacks are inevitable for any bigger businesses there is no real 100% sure protection/prevention, although there is one of the safest options (also time-consuming) that Jo can do and that's making frequent backups of the whole database MTV & PV in case of the worst case scenario regarding hacker attacks: messing up our whole business...change/steal data/funds... I lost all of my ads. But indeed Infomodel, once you get used to using the site you actually miss the website when you can't log in to it and you kinda feel "bored". (Allthough I got loads to do whenever i'm online but MTV brings you a little excitement)
