I'd have thought with the positive daily results and talk of FTQ payments, people would see that as a positive for RPs and if anything the move would be in the other direction. Keno has a higher house edge, I believe it's like 5%. Over the years PPMG always balanced out to around 1.65% house edge overall. Currently it's at 1.68%. The house edge is the same on all sites, except for ptcshare. On the 25th the volume of the MTV casino was $136,309 and on the 26th it was $95,624. So using a house edge of 1.65% we should 'expect' a profit of $2,249 and $1,577.  What we got was a profit of $815 and a loss of $226. This is nothing to be concerned about, it just means the gamblers had a lucky day.  Good for them...if that wasn't possible then nobody would want to play. What it means for investors is that there is a $1,434 and $1,803 profit stored up for some point in the future when the house has a better day. I've used the MTV casino because this is what I have full visibility of, but bear in mind we also have PPMG, PBG, PPG, Paidverts and ptcShare!   Daily profit is largely irrelevant.  What matters is daily volume, and that's simply a matter of number of players, it is here that I agree with Bartosh and the SEO points, which Marc has addressed. This first payment of the FTQ has been a long time coming and it is huge. Trust me...or don't. Finally, if we could have an average volume across all 6 of $50,000 (which is clearly possible) you're talking $300,000 per day.  At 1.65% edge, that's $4950 per day.  That pays back the FTQ, ups the daily ad pool, gives us more cash for development hours and all of those things increase the RP value. On top of that we barely ever had a marketing budget and PPMG is a niche market without many places to advertise it in. We grew on the back of SEO, some paid advertising and by diverting much of our own traffic there. I'll put someone on SEO again to get us back to the top of the relevant searches. But yes, volume is all that matters. I think the volume we're seeing now is justifying the results of the past month.. We did overshoot the house edge. I don't think we're owed results, I think the volume is catching up with the results we had. It's all about additional traffic, hence why I asked to back us up with referring/advertising us for years. If we all do our part.. And in return the referral income of getting a big gambler on PPMG can easily amount to 1000s of dollars. Perhaps I can spend a $1000 again on getting us some banner advertising on the big sites again.. Can't really see us break the bank with such a move at the moment and it's been a while since we did that. fraser Traffic Value: $11,569.46477 Australia 4 like this post 0 people 27/07/2020 23:35 Can I suggest that if we do have capacity for someone to be working on SEO, that they start with PBG.  Given what has just happened with Bitcoin (and will continue right through a 2021 bull run) the potential there is enormous.  I realise from an SEO perspective it will be tough as there will be plenty of competition.  Perhaps any banner advertising could be for PBG also? With regards casino results, my post was not intending to suggest we are owed house edge tomorrow, more that everyone needs to see the down days for what they are.  i.e. focus on the volume not the profit, as the profit will take care of itself. Funny you mentioned Sumo Roll.  Are you aware of a game called Bitcoin Bounce?  It's available on Android and via test flight for Apple.  The game is very similar to the concept of Sumo Roll but you collect tickets.  Each ticket you collect is a ticket for a daily lottery of free Satoshi's (paid via Lightning network). That is how they are getting around app store rules on gambling. They give away 63,925 satoshis (so about $7 per day based on current rates of exchange).  Right now, 1/4 of the way through the day, there have been 1002 unique players playing.  The obviously make their revenue from the ads that they display are various points. It seems to me that Sumo Roll could quite easily (meaning the hard work has already been done) be converted to this model.
